They participated in Sanremo 2024, you may have seen them.
They're not a couple. But Angela and Angelo had something like 50 years ago. They started in 1969 as a group of four (it seems they were of inspiration for ABBA). Rumour has it that the brown-haired girl (Angela) had some jealousy issues with the other girl - the blonde one, so in 1981 they remained three (2 men and 1 woman) and went on to have their greatest hits, in perfect 80s style, winning Sanremo in 1985. This song was presented in the competition at Sanremo 1981.
In 2021 Franco (the other man) passed away, so there were 2 left.
In 2020 they were celebrated as super guests at Sanremo, performing, in the original line-up, some of their biggest hits. Fortunately they kept that on YT. Have a look:
