Poland has similar history to South korea. They've been attacked from others so many times, and scattered so much blood. Polish know what can protect themselves is nothing less than own power. And as a partner South Korea will give them the power.
In this contract, the things we share is not only the weapon. We took more than 20 years to build our howitzers and tanks. And now we will give them our 20 years. We share our experience, support and friendship.
My dear Poland people. You guys are the people who have the courage to scatter red blood when you are in the time that you are the most bright in human life just like flowers to protect your homeland.
In Korea, we say 'A friend who stands with me in the darkest, hardest time is the real friend.'
    Let's stand together.
    Chwała Polsce! Chwała Korei!

During Leopard 2 and K2 Black Panther test in Norway, K2 tank with S Korean tungsten round was able to penetrate 800mm armor compare to 630mm armor with German tungsten round for Leopard 2. This is kinetic energy penetration thus K2 will be able to penetrate new Russian T90 with Kontackt 5 reactive armor with 800mm kinetic armor protection from over 2km away.

I think Black Panther is as good as any MBT. 1000 of them will be one hell of an obstacle for Russia. But that is if there will be integrated infantry troops and air superiority. The most important thing is that it is Polish soldiers, well-armed, well trained and with morale and fighting spirit that can scare anyone. I´m happy Poland is our friend. ❤from Sweden.

Russian sources have repeatedly cited the lack of threats from modern western tanks as the reason that T-14 did not recieve many domestic orders 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Poland is buying 800 K-2PL and 200 support versions. The Russian army doesn't have more than 16 prototype T-14 and they still don't work.
The Polish tank core will have 360 Abrams A2C the first 116 delivered will be the M1A1 and upgraded after the first A2C version are delivered. They will bump the Leopard 2 down to training tank and the mainstay will be the K-2PL and they will eventually even replace the Leopard 2 completely. The Abrams A2C will remain in service much longer and will probably be increased in number slightly as a fist and rapid reaction force.
The Polish armed forces are being increasingly equipped with domestically produced weapons. That means they are going to go a similar route as the French being in NATO but completely independent of the other countries. Probably even starting production of the KF-21 in the near future.

K2 is a really great tank but KAPS is the only one major problem. I am a great supporter of Polish-Korean cooperation in the construction of new weapons. I think the polish version of the K2 - the K2PL MBT can be a great tank, as good as the famous - Abrams, Leopard or Leclerc, maybe even better than them. I'm really happy but ... There is one major problem - KAPS APS. KAPS is not accepted abroad because it is prone to friendly fire. An official from Hyundai Rotem is on record saying that the KAPS model developed by the National Research Institute was made exclusively for largescale all-out use. Therefore, it is a model that cannot meet the current tank export market, which is sensitive to human casualties. Another reason is that the KAPS APS radar cannot detect incoming if the tank operates jammers. In particular, it was found that when a smoke grenade is used during manoeuvring, the radar of KAPS could not detect the enemy’s anti-tank missile or RPG rocket, making it impossible to use the two systems together. And once more - the cost of the Korean KAPS and for example - much better israeli Trophy system is roughly the same, about $1 million. Therefore, the Polish defense minister should not choose the Korean APS. The Norwegians also chose the APS Trophy...
    Kind Regards - Stan
