In theory, the turbo button should add a "flicker" to your buttons so that when you hold a button down the controller sends continuous rapid presses instead of one long single press.
I can’t believe that in a review of a wired controller, you don’t discuss the one *most* limiting factor when compared to an official controller. HOW LONG IS THE WIRE? Surely either reading the length of the wire from the specs or measuring it yourself is crucial in reviewing any controller that has lost the wireless functionality of the DualShock 4. This is such a wild omission to me.
@@GrandpaGoesGaming thank you for replying. Sorry for coming in hot. I found one of these locally and wanted something for occasional remote play from my PS4 to my PS5 because the battery’s died on my DualShock but everywhere I looked didn’t seem to have the cable specs so I could be sure it would reach far enough across the room. Saw your review and thought I was saved and was just a bit frustrated when I wasn’t but shouldn’t have been so grumpy.
Unfortunately I don't have one of these so I can't advise you, but don't be afraid to reach out to Gioteck via the contact section of their website, I'm sure that they'll be able to help you 😁
Thank you for joining the livestream 😁 I'm glad that you managed to figure it out. Sometimes just poking things and hoping for the best is a good strategy ☺️
I could do with more information ideally. Is it the same model as the one in my video? What are you connecting it too? Are you trying to play with it or update the firmware?
I had issues with this controller on PC and had to make sure that it was plugged into a USB directly on my motherboard, not a hub or a front port. Also, follow the instructions to update the firmware before you try using it on PC.
DO NOT BUY THIS CONTROLLER the input lag and stick drift is ridiculous is so uncomfortable the back triggers are horrible this is not worth 30-35 quid I wouldn't even pay a 10er for it just helping people out but if you need a controller just get the official one I know it's expensive but to rule out stick drift and input lag also comfort and the god awful speaker may aswell pickup a genuine controller
You must have got really unlucky, which I suppose is a common occurrence with budget controllers. Good info the group though, thank you for letting us know 👍
Are you having trouble with a particular controller, game or system? I find that it's not always a one-fix fits all and it can vary from system to system or from game to game.
That sounds a little crazy and could be due to any number of factors. Are you playing on a PS4 and have you updated the firmware? You can get the firmware updater at gioteck.com/vx4-firmware/
Thanks for this video, I’m just gonna spend the extra money for a proper one lol
That's a great idea. If you can afford something better then you should get it, since this is one of the nastiest controllers I've used 👍
And on NFS Heat too 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 that 180 tho... But she needs some more ponies 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh come on, we knew that NFS would sneak on to the channel somehow 😉
Do you know what the turbo button does? If not, no worries.

Is there anywhere to plug a mic in?

@althickthorn6976 not at all, you were quite right for pulling me up with a little constructive criticism ☺️
@@althickthorn6976nobody asked
Does it have motion control like a steering wheel?
Yes it does, but it's not particularly accurate and there's a certain amount of latency.
@@GrandpaGoesGaming Ok thank you
@@GrandpaGoesGaming Does the motion control work on PC?
