- Rowan Picard never did like playing by the rules, especially if they didn't make any sense. This rebellious nature is helping Rowan quickly find her place in the Canadian rock music scene. She is the lead guitarist of 'The Petras', an all-female indie pop-rock group that recently released their first single 'Sapphire', recorded with Producer Michael Hanson (founding member of Glass Tiger). Rowan is also the lead guitarist and vocalist of the alt-rock band, 'Rogue Rising' and they are about to play their first hometown show at The Mansion in Kingston, Ontario.

I heard that organizers cancelled the Mansion show, but next Thursday night they're playing a free outdoor concert.
