***** If there is anything specific I had to hand to you about this game is that you actually made it completable, you didn't make it impossibly difficult, and you knew when it needed to end. When I was little my parents took me & my friend to Sesame Place. It had just opened and I couldn't wait to start climbing around on shit. It was like a mini Action Park, I remember getting hurt on practically everything. I had scrapes, scratches & splinters in no time. It was one danger after another. I was really looking forward to the ball pit and I leaped into it eagerly, immediately trying to dig down to the bottom, only to find the bottom had a bunch of stinking water. My jeans were instantly soaked with piss & bacterial stench that was akin to a festering kitchen towel. It was horrific. After I got out, my pants were wet and *_stunk_* for the rest of the day, I had to walk around with them like that at Oxford Valley Mall for hours while my parents shopped. I still have a brass coin from the arcade with big bird's stupid face on it.

My favorite part of this game is how a chiptune version of the Unicron Medley from the 1980’s Transformers Movie, the theme of a villain that literally ate planets and was Orson Welles’s last vocal performance before he died, plays in the wacky ball pit. Now that’s what you call mood music.

I remember that, while watching this live, when he started fighting PharaohMan the second time, I started getting severe kidney stone pains and had to go to the hospital for some morphine, only to spend two more hours than needed in pain while the doctors were trying to figure out what was wrong w/ me because they wouldn't listen to me. Good times.

I actually really enjoyed this game and the cooperation between the two brothers in a story that I found really interesting. 10/10

...I was being sarcastic when I made an RPG Maker game where walking off the path kills you. I didn't think anyone would actually be stupid enough to make that into an actual gameplay mechanic!
Sky Render I've covered a couple on my channel. Not the worst mechanic I've ever seen.
Sky Render Actually "walking off the path is a debuff" is quite common in RPGs. Basically on the path there are less monster encounters.
Look at Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King, for example.
And then there's the "night time makes mobs stronger" mechanic too, lol.
So if you wanna travel, go on day on the path. Wanna level? Midnight, run in circles on the grass.

This game reminds me of Nintendo Nightmare. At first it is seemingly a joke game that was made as a parody, but then the game gets a serious plot, and actually gets quite interesting. This game also gave off some Mother vibes. I say this is a really good game.

I decided to come back to this classic and watching again made me apreciate that the game didn't overplay it's hand. Like with the walking on grass gag: the dev could've triggered it at the end for maximum funny instead of 10 minutes in. Or how failing the stealth section only restarts the screen instead of the whole segment. That and the enjoyable writing even for people who've never read the comic make for a funny stream.
