@M it is true that soccer is a far more popular sport. The main reason is almost anyone can play soccer, you need a lot more physicality to play league. That counts out millions of people.

@M You are right, many Aussie little girls and boys play soccer. So, Soccer is a great game for kids. For grown men though, only undersized men who like falling over and pretending to be hurt will play Soccer.
Australian and NZ are traditionally more hard so gravitate more to harder sports

@@jasonwilliams7205 I wouldn't consider Zlatan ibrahimovic, Peter Crouch and Erling Haaland little, they are all around 6ft5 and weighing atleast 100kg, in fact, most soccer player are taller then NRL players but a bit lighter, both great sports.
Both klokstad try saving tackles won us the game!! So glad we dont have Reece walsh. He was way too small and teams ran over him way too many times. Klokstad offers a bigger body and determination.
Good win by the brothers. Only the first game but we will take the win.

Yeah bro. Not hating on Reece. Definitely suited better in the halves. Great kicking game and his passing is top notch. Defence wins games. Klokstad was Roger like. Warriors goal line defence in the last 20 mins was also a good sign
Yep agree about CNK. I'm on the bronco's highlights and their fans are bashing cobbos performance . It wasnt complete, but he made defensive stops that Walsh wouldnt have made last night. Defence is king, it wins games.

I'm a Warriors fan since 95. STILL KEEPING the faith. SJ had a good game tonight and we were lucky he did. But if we have any chance of making the top 8. CNk, SJ and TM need to combine collectively for any sort of chance for us. Still need improvement,but SJ is a liability on defence though. Teams like the Panthers and Roosters will expose his weakness .
His kicking really needs to improve that's the main thing he really needs to work on. Other than that bro was strong. CNK had a blinder. Reminder of his former self pre injuries. TM is good in defence first game back in the halves so give him some time would love if he ran more tho.
Metcalf should start 6.

@@rsoul9551 wym he had a line break that lead to buntys try, set up a try for kosi he attacked the line and was solid on defense except the first try he let in of the game. Kicking game needs improving but that was a 6/10 performance by him better than previous games
Looks like a rejuvenated Warriors team here despite early days, also a great game whenever Glen Larmer is in the commentary box calling it.

A lot of work to do, seems like our defence is solid but our attack still looking confused, SJ sparked out & showed his skill dude needs to carry that side step energy & lads need to run on the ball at pace, not like turtles. Other than that good game

I know it's only the first game but I seen a real difference in the boys attitude last night and the forwards enforcing there presence around the ruck and really getting into the knights heads are we seeing a tougher mental game from the mighty warriors 🤔💯😝

I really think the drums have the most impact on defense not attack , or even after they score , but anyway good start boys , I still believe in Johnson if only he would believe in himself again , I'd rather see him run and fail than just passing most of the game. Nice win 😎🍻

@@GhostSlayer666 yeah bro I watched it , I saw 1 good run when he almost scored , also looked good when he ran support gutted he didn't get the pass. But that about it.
SJ had a solid game on attack and we were lucky he did but he is a liability on defense and solid attacking teams like the Panthers and Roosters will expose his defense. The Warriors were much more fluent when Metcalf and Te Maire Martin were the halves during pre season. More fluent in attack with CNK combining from out the back.

Warriors defence was on another level. Knights had about 10 minutes when they had lots of calls go their way and plenty of chances and still blew it. Ponga has been painfully average

I’m not a fan of either team so you must’ve been watching a different game or are a one eyed warriors fan. warriors got 7 set repeats, a try while their 9 was in the line obstructing the defence and a penalty to them for a knock on in the first half alone. They never once got penalised for late third man in the entire game either.
