BOOOOOM!!!💥💥💥 Well exicuted video. I like how you had the bus bars in stages and or all in stages! Only thing I was wondering about is all the lil heat shrink pieces. Seems extra to me or I missed what you said the reason was. 💥🤘

I just rewatched the video and realized I didn’t bring that up this time. This was like take 10. Haha. Of course I still ended up forgetting something. I’m guessing you remember what that was like when you started. Haha
The heat shrink is on there because when I broke down my previous Powerwall. I noticed the copper was just dirty. The Powerwall was in my garage, and the garage door was usually open. I also wondered if that had any effect on the efficiency of the packs with the copper being so dirty. My uncle who is an engineer said yes. So I figured what’s not being covered with solder, I’ll cover with heat shrink and see how it looks and performs after a year. and compare that my previous builds efficiency and look over the same time. Plus now the plexiglass will go around the entire pack. Instead of just protecting the sides.
Thank you so much for the follow! Any advice from you is more than welcomed.

Plus, like I said. I think the heat shrink looks cool. It’s at the least unique. Haha

Those Blue EVE´s are great cells. I have 8.400 of them working on a 14S600P battery with no issue at all for eight months now. In my opinion you are over complicating / engineering your battery. Sometimes the simplest solution is the one. Good work none the less.

Wow, 14S 600P, is that about a 100Kwh pack? I'm making a 14S75P powerwall from 3200Mah Panasonics. When you have 600P, don't you face the risk of individual cells becoming out of balance, simply because you have so many cells all being balanced at the same rate, thousands of times throughout the years? Or is it that because they are in parallel, they all balance equally no matter what?

@@AllAroundTube50 They are all in parallel, 600P, so they behave as one big cell.

I probably... no, I am over complicating it. Lol I know I could cut it back and it would still work just fine, but I also want to make it unique and my own. It’s been a lot of fun so far. That’s the most important part. 🙂

8,400 cells!! That’s awesome!! I thought I was crazy about building a giant battery. Good to see there are fellow nerds and mad scientists out there. 🙂

I understand the function of the long horizontal wires. But what is the function of the vertical wires?

Spreads it out. More copper the better in my opinion. Also, the center wire doesn’t connect directly to the main bar. So it can spread out through the horizontal wires.
