Ricky Ponting could field anywhere and be bloody incredible at it. Be it through backward point early on in his career or the slips, covers, mid-wicket, cow corner, silly point, you name it. His ability to essentially catch anything and everything in the vicinity along with his unparalleled direct hits made his the greatest fieldsman ever to have graced the game.
