Good thing I've known my U.S. Presidents in chronological order since my high school days. All I had to do was go back in time and do the math, and sure enough, the correct response came to mind.

Phew, good to see that the S36 three game curse is over! Time to conquer the four game curse now!

Actually, it was easy. You just had to subtract the number of years from the answer and fit the President for that year!

Why, did Alex read 1988 like that? "The year nineteen hundred & eighty eighty" is that Canadian Lingo?

I don't know, but I'm French Canadian and i can tell u that for 1988 I would either say mille-neuf-cent-quatre-vingt-huit (one thousand nine hundred eighty eight) or dix-neuf-cent-quatre-vingt-huit (nineteen hundred eighty eight) both are accepted in French though the latter is only used when we talk about a year, id never say "I have nineteen hundred eighty eight dollars"

The 4-day curse better not come back.....

Honestly the fact that they're uploading this video now after her 4th game might not be a good sign. With few exceptions, it seems like most of the time when Jeopardy uploads a video regarding a contestant streak, it's right before they're about to lose. I hope that's not the case here with Jennifer (though to be fair, her 4-day total should hold up pretty well come TOC regardless, especially if Ryan Bilger remains eligible).

NicksCoolLife They did this after Jason’s seventh win and I, too, thought it might be the end...I was deeply wrong of course.

My guess for that particular Final Jeopardy Clue would have been 1 of the following 3.
    1: Martin Van Buren
    2: Chester A. Arthur
    3: Theodore Roosevelt

Also, as a person who knows a lot about presidents and vice presidents, I easily got this FJ clue.
