Great fly! Have you heard Singapore Airlines flight from London, United Kingdom to Singapore was forced to make emergency landing in Bangkok, Thailand, after suffering turbulence, which led 30 people injured and 1 person dead?
I did hear that. That's all my news feeds had on them yesterday. A terrible situation, but one we all take the risk of encountering when we fly. Flying is incredibly safe, and we have gotten to that point after years of trial and error. There are still dangers associated with flying though. And this severe turbulence event seems to have happened with no warning, and at the worst possible time (when the crew were all up with carts out for service).
Miss flying these birds. I flew N437QX in the Boise State Broncos livery and I sat on the right side of the plane (looking from the backside it would be the right) and I had the window seat. We did outside boarding and I remember it so vividly. Flew them many times. Thanks for bringing back so many memories.
Although this isn't a biplane, I suspect you meant turboprop or high winged aircraft. Turboprops are extremely reliable and even offer some distinct advantages over jet aircraft. Of course, you're entitled to your own feelings and opinions, but aircraft like the Q400 aren't statistically any more likely to be in an incident than any jet aircraft. Thanks for watching!
It's always a pleasure getting up in a Q400, you can't beat those prop and engine views. I miss flying on the Horizon Dash's. Great in-flight footage!
Same my friend. I wish Horizon still had them. At least they're still abundant in Canada!
I enjoy watching the pitch angle of prop change.

Nothing beats boarding from the ramp!
@@sla31 yes! I agree
Fantastic sights there great work
Thanks my friend!
1:38 Such an iconic sound.
A 6-blade with a serious sound, it's not like that swarm of bees/flies that is an ATR72-500/600.
Well, it may sound like that, but I assure you the audio is from a Q400. There hasn’t been any audio modification here. Thanks for watching!
@@sla31 Yes, I know it's the original sound! I'll rewrite my comment to make it clearer :)
Ah I see. Yes, that makes more sense 😂

I have a fear of bi planes. I prefer jets
Good thing this isn’t a bi plane

@@sla31 thank you for the information, that actually makes me less scared to fly them now.. cheers
It's a turboprop monoplane, not a biplane.
