I' am 51 years old and I first found "The Laws of Success Manuscripts" in the New York Public Library. Down some long dark aisle in the back of the main room. It was wrapped in old plastic and all dusty. It was 1990 and these books had not been touched in decades. It was like finding gold while digging in the dirt in some mountain range. It changed my life. I went down to Wall st and walked on the NYMEX Trading floor, shaking in my shoes. Everyday I kept reading and following Mr Hill's lead. I was 21 years old, by 25 years old I was in the trading ring and a partner in Crude Oil and Natural gas Options execution boutique on the trading floor. What a ride! I didn't leave until 2011. Hill is the King of self help.

I feel blessed by listening to this. Sometimes the only positive person I find around is myself, so I commune with myself with the aid of great speeches like this one.
Brian Tracey thankfully tells us “be a professional and very positive person, and by doing so, you’ll become just that, and easily attract others like yourself, to yourself.” Here’s my advice on this: …if your a perpetual loner, do to myriad of reasons including… steps of being positive around a negative family or environment, ect… you may accidentally memorize being a loner, even when meeting the good people like yourself… You’ll have to make a proactive change and like a 8 year old kid again… ask others to be your friend, go out and play, or to work and act together in certain ventures… And to do forgiveness practices thinking of old friends or family and neighbors, class mates, co-workers and lovers… especially authority figures and weaklings alike… forgive them all. And forgive them againzzz. This frees you, and it frees them, but since your the one casting the freedom tool, you’ll forgive more and more people, until you very very free. That’s your reward. Freedom. Often money, people, and good lucks find you as you do these things sincerely. Other times, you feel okay now to succeed while before it felt like climbing a unclimbable wall, that seams climbable yet is not. That’s being stuck. Forgiveness can be a freedom tool. Just remember to keep at your task, while your forgiving. If you’ve been abused… or hurt, this especially applies to You!
I came across Dr. Hill's writings along with W. Clement Stone in the 1980's while living in the housing projects in dire surroundings-drugs, crime, violence,etc. & managed to get myself out of that environment with these teachings, and at 55 now am happier than I've ever been, thank you!
Just told my wife, that we got to where we are with his teachings and it's time to listen and learn again. I need to brush up on my positive mental attitude. As we age, sometimes we grow weary and we forget to do what got us to where we are. Time for a reset and a commitment to sharpening the mind again even later in life! Thank you!

Sometimes when something negative occurred and i had a positive mindset about it, something greater would happen that is positive. Whether it is positive because the brain processes that particular way even if its not truly positive, it helps feel like it is.

Recently I found out, A lot of his personal work was channeled by him, which is why his words in writing and speaking resonate with us all so well. They said one of his biggest regrets was keeping that part of him concealed in fear the info would not be recieved, he understood the timing. This man changed the world on so many planes. @@XPuntar I get you, it is like me and forgiving those who took my life(time and health) - they used it to go on withholding me treament and exploiting my weak state. So one has to get inwardly strong before, develop self-respect and grounding. Which can be easier said than done. Have you negotiated a pay rise, btw? What work do you do? How can you do it in a way that you feel better in, no matter how they see or treat you? Have you done any symbol act and inner empowerment practice to be more visible to them?

The way that he described it is the same as getting mentors and people always talk about getting mentors but highly successful people they're very difficult to get to mentor you. So Napoleon Hill made up The Mastermind group in which he picked people that he wanted to emulate their success in certain areas of his life. He studied these people by reading their biographies interviewing them and observing the good things and the challenging things that they endured. In the Mastermind chapter of the book he goes on to explain that he would often have meetings with these people but they would be imaginary meetings. As he thought of decisions that he had to make and challenges that laid before him he would consult his Mastermind group by examining the behaviors and the decisions of his members. He said that he became so knowledgeable about these individuals that during his imaginary meetings he could close his eyes and hear them as they gave him advice almost as if they were alive and in the room with them.

I thought it should be live, and have been searching for at least 1 person to help and co-work with, without success and with disheartenment, since I and much of my state and situation are bad and have been for a long , long time. I am sure he also talks about real people to help , but this certainly was a positive solution for me, since I am so bad at co-work anyway, and even less self-confident (attractive) in my morose demise. How long have you had your imaginary- ideal Mastermind group, and how do you work with it+ How often do you meet,is it regularly? Do you follow a definite schedule then, or is it different each time? Do you have friends etc to talk with about your ideas and practise, please? Mr Hill is truly good and a fine speaker.
I gave several special editions of his book to others and did not keep one for myself. Read his book about 30 years ago. So glad this came back around to remind me. Gratitude important here. So thankful for this knowledge.

Apart from my upbringing, I owe a lot of my success to this man. Nay, I owe my entirely renewed mind and positive attitude to his wonderful “Think and Grow Rich”. Went through a period during which I no longer knew who I was and what I was about and then I came across this book. I could hardly put it back down and finished it in a matter of mere days. Had to let it simmer for some time, before I read it again. It made me change my attitude and general outlook on (my) life. I changed for the better, stopped procrastinating and self-sabotaging and started to enjoy education and feeding of the mind, once again. Cannot wait to see where I’ll be a year, 2 years, 5 years and 20 years from now. Actually, I can’t even wait to see what tomorrow shall bring. Yes, even in 2020! So one has to get inwardly strong before, develop self-respect and grounding. Which can be easier said than done. Have you negotiated a pay rise, btw? What work do you do? How can you do it in a way that you feel better in, no matter how they see or treat you? Have you done any symbol act and inner empowerment practice to be more visible to them?

The way that he described it is the same as getting mentors and people always talk about getting mentors but highly successful people they're very difficult to get to mentor you. So Napoleon Hill made up The Mastermind group in which he picked people that he wanted to emulate their success in certain areas of his life. He studied these people by reading their biographies interviewing them and observing the good things and the challenging things that they endured. In the Mastermind chapter of the book he goes on to explain that he would often have meetings with these people but they would be imaginary meetings. As he thought of decisions that he had to make and challenges that laid before him he would consult his Mastermind group by examining the behaviors and the decisions of his members. He said that he became so knowledgeable about these individuals that during his imaginary meetings he could close his eyes and hear them as they gave him advice almost as if they were alive and in the room with them.
@@Iamhakeemomari Yes, Like Napoleon did was have an imaginary master mind group that he met with nightly before falling off to sleep. He chose people whom he wished to emulate and take upon their character qualities. Do you remember reading about his meetings?

I thought it should be live, and have been searching for at least 1 person to help and co-work with, without success and with disheartenment, since I and much of my state and situation are bad and have been for a long , long time. I am sure he also talks about real people to help , but this certainly was a positive solution for me, since I am so bad at co-work anyway, and even less self-confident (attractive) in my morose demise.
How long have you had your imaginary- ideal Mastermind group, and how do you work with it+ How often do you meet,is it regularly? Do you follow a definite schedule then, or is it different each time? Do you have friends etc to talk with about your ideas and practise, please?

Apart from my upbringing, I owe a lot of my success to this man. Nay, I owe my entirely renewed mind and positive attitude to his wonderful “Think and Grow Rich”.
Went through a period during which I no longer knew who I was and what I was about and then I came across this book. I could hardly put it back down and finished it in a matter of mere days. Had to let it simmer for some time, before I read it again. It made me change my attitude and general outlook on (my) life. I changed for the better, stopped procrastinating and self-sabotaging and started to enjoy education and feeding of the mind, once again.
Cannot wait to see where I’ll be a year, 2 years, 5 years and 20 years from now. Actually, I can’t even wait to see what tomorrow shall bring. Yes, even in 2020!
