Always start by timing the shifting arm quadrant into the cam plate in high (4th gear). The upper most tooth on the quadrant will be one space above the gears on the cam plate. The installation shown here appeared to be correct, but if not the inner case will not fit properly due to the shifting quadrant fouling the inner case. Assembly the input shaft first with the third gear and the top shifter fork in place, then select 2nd gear and fit the layshaft with the two inner gears and the lower shifter fork in place. The rod upon which the shifter forks ride can then be fitted with some manipulation. Then install the big roller that engages the outer shifting mechanism and fit the remaining gears with kickstarter gear open outboard, fit the inner gasket and the inner case. The rest is almost self explanatory.
Never drive or pound onthe inner race of a bearing. good chance of damage.
thank you for the advice.. when installing the bearing the edges are put under pressure.. so that the installed bearing functions properly 🔩🔧🛠
