Purpose: Revision tables help you keep track of changes made to a design or drawing over time. They provide a concise summary of revisions since the initial release or across multiple releases.
Functionality:
- You can insert a revision table (block) into your drawing.
The table includes related revision symbols.
- You can choose between alphabetic or numeric sequences for revision symbols.
- Revision symbols create notes with borders connected to the revision table.
- The current revision number or letter is used.
The latest revision appears under “REV” in the lower-right corner of the sheet format each time you create a new revision row and rebuild your drawing.
Additional Options:
- When inserting a row in a revision table, you can choose to insert revision symbols directly or add a description.
- You can link a note (usually at the lower left in the sheet format) to the revision letter for synchronization.
