Jesse, thanks for your channel. I really find it interesting in what you’re saying to help contractors. My question is, after the job is completed you’re left with gross profit. Is that gross profit used to pay towards overhead?

    Hey Jesse!
I was wondering in your very first steps what kind of projects did you start with? I mean you’re now a large GC but, back then how was your every day like, and what was your marketing strategy like?
Thank you for your content it is amazing !

Hey man! I started out with super small projects like building a deck, then I got some kitchen remodels, then a room addition, then my first commercial renovation which set the stage for everything else.

When you became a GC and started your construction company, were you a one man show? When you were awarded a contract for a deck, did you build that deck by yourself? Or did you hire subcontractors?
