Just wanted to tell I watched Shawshank in 2021 for the 1st time and I'm at a complete loss for words. You might find this childish but I feel like I've achieved something in life just by watching this Movie. lol
The following aspects of the movie were of sheer delight:
    1) Andy escapes from the prison to freedom and goes to the bank to
cash in all the earnings of the warden's that he (the warden) had
    accrued within his lifetime.
    2) The wonderful moment when Red is released from Shawshank.
    3) The box of cash which Andy tendered to him under the tree where
Andy first made love to his wife to be.
    4) The bus trip that Red took to meet Andy south of the border.
    5) The bittersweet ending where Red finds Andy fixing up a boat and
    the two of them hug!
This movie is one of those for the ages and is UNFORGETTABLE! I watch it every time it is shown on TV and know the lines and scenes to a tee.
An EXTREMELY enjoyable movie and leaves viewers with such a profound feel of joy to see the two main characters reunited at the end!
SHAWSHANK will live for more 250 years to come...

Man Tim Robbins comes across as very warm, funny, and grateful for the legacy the Shawshank Redemption has had all these years Morgan Freeman the legend just comes across a bit pompous, cold and really arrogant,my opinion of course but thats what i see.....

@@bluengrey1 it was just a question based on things osaro runner saw. If you also see Robbins as calm and warm and Morgan Freeman as arrogant and pompous then it's cool. You are entitled to your opinion as well.

Morgan Freeman narration can save even the worst of films. Obviously, not talking about this film. This one was great.
