- Barrow Bridge is a village in Bolton, Greater Manchester. It was created during the Industrial Revolution as model industrial community.
It is located on Barrow Bridge Road, near Moss Bank Park.

Love these vids was born in Bolton and I spent a lot of time in my childhood exploring these places. I live in in Dorset now and really love these videos. Please if you get chance to do one of Moss Bank Park that would be wonderful to watch. Thank you for the memories. Keep up the good work.
Great video, thanks for posting. I was brought up on Johnson Fold Estate from the late 60’s through till the early 80’s. I spent many a happy hour as a child down in Barrow Bridge, in those days there use to be a Tuck Shop in the village as I’m sure many of the older generation out there familiar with the area would remember. I should also mention the Boating Lake too but alas, that was filled in before I got the time to enjoy it. Will never forget the 63 Steps and the Cigarette Tunnel further upstream that goes under Scout Road.
Remember that area from the mid 60s when I lived near Bolton,did a lot wandering around 👍
