This is a genuinely interesting concept, and portraying Star Wars as high fantasy is always something I am interested in. It is technically fantasy, after all
Completely agree! Thank you for the comment.
Star Wars is Science Fantasy, so technically Fantasy
Without googling, what's the difference between high fantasy and normal fantasy
@@Womble3rd one of them smokes weed
Even games did that
I would love to see grevious as an undead skeleton warrior put together by palpatine with sith magic
That would be AWESOME!! If he does General Grevous, with I would want anyway, I hope this concept is what he goes with.
With an army of skeletons (battle droids)
@@TheBrickSquad11 Totaly! 🤩
YES!
Why do the ones on the thumbnail actually look really good…
Video was 5 days ago your comment is 6 days ago 😳
The thumbnails look the same as the ones in the video. What’s your point?
This one worked amazingly! The Star Wars theme worked into medieval surprisingly well!
It is a space theme fanstay series. So it work well after all
Dooku with a fencing sword is brilliant because of Christopher lees history with fencing and being very good at it which is why dookus sword fighting is more based on fencing than other styles
Also another funny detail, in Ralph Bakshi's LotR, Saruman wears red robes.
I love how you gave them each a background story
Definitely need a part 2
I would like to see Jabba the Hutt, Ezra and the ghost crew, Fennec Shand, Saw Gerrera, Bib Fortuna, and Cad Bane. Hopefully you get at least three of them in there
Jabba the hutt as a orc king.
@@davidmonkeysharkthat's a good idea
Beorns torso and head are great Star Wars pieces.
I agree!
imagine making entire Lego series based on this concept
I love them! Especially C-3PO, he looks fantastic, but so do all of them. Definitely would love a part 2: a standard Stormtrooper, at least one standard Clone, maybe a Qui-Gon, a Mace Windu, Rey, Finn, Poe, maybe even a Nute Gunray! Plus of course the Clone Commanders/Captains/other named Clones, but maybe they get a Part 3 to themselves! With Rex, Cody, Gree, Fox, Oddball, and maybe even the Bad Batch
Thank you so much for watching and for all the suggestions! Those are some pretty cool characters. Some of them will definitely show up in episode 2!
I love this! Yoda’s smile totally catches his goofy attitude. I would love to see another part 2.
I agree, and thank you for your kind words!
r2d2 & C3p0 reminded me of treasure planet. you absolutely nailed these!
Wow that awesome of Star wars versions, do more like Fantasy, Modern versions,Samurai, Wild western, Noir, or Steampunk, Pirates, and Sci fi version of Star wars, Marvel and DC
Commander Cody is my favorite clone trooper, as well as captain Rex. I can’t wait to see what the stormtroopers look like in pt 2!!
Clones are coming right up in episode 2! Thank you for the suggestions
U should make avenger , dc and Star Wars character as pirates 😊
This was great, so may of these were spot on! Can't wait for part 2. I think Plo Kool could be really cool to see in this style, while also providing a pretty big challenge. I'm curious to see if you could pull it off without using his original head piece.
Qui-Gon and Windu, plus some of the other bounty hunters like Cad Bane.
A suggestion for a medieval fantasy counterpart for droids is Golems, being constructs and basically magic robots.
Very nice work!! These look great! Love how you used such a wide variety of minifig parts and prints to make this work so well!
My suggestions are the Ghost Crew, the Bad Batch crew, Revan and other ancient Sith, as well as a few of the other representatives like Bail Organa and the Rebellion troopers we see in A New Hope, as well as your take on Clone trooper armor vs Stormtrooper armor. Also, Snoke and Ben Solo would be good.
YES REVAN LET’S GO!
And Nihilus, too.
I would like to see captain rex and commander cody if you do a part two
Me too!
yes! Part 2 please!!!
Princess Leia is done really well!
Thank you!
I really want to see what he makes the prequel characters look like!😀
We'll see!
the Han and the chewie are just perfect
Thank you!
I really like the idea of Palpatine, in this fantasy world, being a sort of wraith or formless ghost (a Phantom Menace, perhaps?) who just flits from body to body as he pleases, never truly dying. Maybe he finally discovered Plagueis' secret in this world?
hyped
Lego Star Wars an an 80’s dark fantasy film.
Captain Rex, commander Cody, tarkin, the bad batch, royal guards, mon mothma, rebel pilot Luke, Hoth Luke/Han solo, Jedi master Luke, greef karga, omega, mace windu, qui gonn, kylo ren, Rey, captain phasma, Finn
I think this works well star wars is a fantasy story set in space and bring that back to medieval times makes it work well
I NEED THIS TV SHOW! Awesome Job Man!
These legit look like real Lego sets. So cool. I wanna try build this. You gotta submit this to Lego ideas.
Can’t wait for part 2!! Rex and Cody would be cool
I agree! I've been working on Rex already
General Grievous
What about Battle Droids as medieval!?
Maybe some kind of enchanted skeleton?
What about different types of Battle Droids!?
These were absolutely amazing. Well done!
these kinds of videos are so much better than those stupid ai generated 80s dark fantasy videos. so much more skill and soul put in.
Thank you!
These are all perfect. And obi wans beard is perfect lol. I do think Vaders normal helmet is great in medieval though looks like some sort of specialized helmet although ill give you points for creativity
Thanks! Yeah, I try to mix it up when possible to make them look different
Love the idea two great things mixed
Thank you!
Thanks for including me but did you have to take away my eye? The left eye was my favorite, it was my best eye!!!
Admiral Trench would make a great fantasy stile character
Mando as a medieval castle minifigure is cool and I like him and he is my favorite star wars character.
that c3po is amazing
Thank you so much! I'm surprised at how many people have said they like to C3PO
I wasn’t expecting to see Mando in this video, but it was a welcome surprise.
wow the C-3PO is so beautiful !
That is amazing! They look so cool in medieval form!
I love how much more rugged Boba looks than Jango. It definitely captures the different feel both characters had.
I love the addition of Obi Wan losing his eye, such a small thing, but it shows an attention to detail.
Old man Ben is ready to knock out some marauders with that crook
Kudos for not just using a Saruman MiniFig as Dooku, LOL.
Yo this is cool please make a story like star wars but medieval that be great
The count dooku figure looks awesome, I think the robes worked really well for him. Keep up the great work Brad!
Thank you
Where was Grievous in the video? I didn't see him
@@watership02 maybe a part 2?
Sorry I'm dumb I meant count dooku have no clue where general grevious came from 😂
@@Sgt_Huddy I figured you meant count dooku with him and grievous both being Palpatine's goons. I figured you just got mixed up
These are good but I really wanted mando to have a spear
Great video!! Keep up the grind you GOT THIS!!!
Reminds me of the time I made wild west Harry Potter minifigures.
Keep rockin brad! These are brilliant!
It would be really cool to see General Grievous in a medieval style
This is a pretty interesting concept and I think you executed it really well. I would personally LOVE to see your take on a medieval General Grevous
Wish we would’ve got to see Luke in his Jedi uniform from episode 6, but still an amazing video nonetheless
Maybe out of topic but the count Dooku minifig slightly reminds me that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer
So exited!
I love this, and this is given the fact George Lucas created Star Wars with a combination of space opera and hero's journey medival fantasy.
This is absolutely awesome
very cool idea and excellent execution
This gives me William Shakespeare’s Star Wars vibes
It did for me too while I was making them.
I most exicited about Qui Gon, Rex, Cody, Bad Batch , Thrawn, Inqusitors, Grievious. I would also like to see Jabba, Ghost Crew, Cade Bane, Embo, Savage, Bo Katan, Ventress.
Wow, this reminds of Shakespeare's Star Wars!!!!!
Yeah, I was thinking about that too!
What light through yonder saber breaks?
This looks so good
Well done. Now turn them into Samurais from Sengoku Jidai period
I'm not good with history so I'm not sure what that means, but samurais are cool!
Do kit fisto or captain fordo
This is AWESOME !!!
These are really good! I think some characters that should be added include: Jabba the Hutt, Bib Fortuna, Thrawn, Assaj Ventress, Imperial Officers, Clone Commandos, and/or Andor.
Lol Yoda reminded me of yogurt from space balls haha
0:14 Darth maul looks so cool 😎
This looks cool.
Good luck converting the droid army into this theme. I want to see it happen, but I'm curious how you'll ever manage it
Yeah, that's definitely going to be a challenge! We'll see if I can come up with something.
@@bradsbrickpost that's the kind of determination I love to see! Excited to see what happens!
I always thought that medival/ fantasy equivalent of robots/droids are golems maybe you could use it in another video
Yeah that's an interesting idea! At first, I was wondering about making R2D2 have stone wheels or something like that. Great suggestion!
Once again, Amazing work... But i have a challenge for you, why not turn transformers characters as lego castle
I'd absolutely love seeing your take on medieval Revan
I love all the figs we need a part 2
Super cool pls do part 2
My top 3 for this series (in order) count duku, yoda and the mandalorian
Thank you!
these are great, and, aside from obvious core characters, if you're doing things like the Mandalorian, I think seeing other characters featured prominently in shows like Cassian, Mon Mothma, Duchess Satine and Bo-Katan, and the Rebels crew, just to name a few
I felt like some of these were a bit more renaissancey but it’s still cool
Love this series so far!!! Can't wait for the next episode!! The medieval theme for Star wars look so great!!! And fun fact, just yesterday, I was thinking about: what if star wars was made on Peplum movie era, that's could be a perfect feat for star wars. Infortunatly you are faster than me!!😉 I love what you make with the minifigs. You do a great job!!😁
Thank you so much for your kind words!
They look good
Thank you!
This was very original!
This is such an out of the box video it's amazing!
So many of these remind me of spaceball character designs
I WISH I HAD THESE SO MUCH
Notice how he included only Prequel and OT characters. I don’t need to see Kylo Ren as some dark knight who wants to be like Lord Vader or Rey as a former nomad who traded scrap from wars to survive but now fights to find her past
Honestly I would love to see more Luke minifigs reflecting him in parts 5 and 6
Grievous, rancor, wampa, jabba, kylo, mace windu, and Ezra Bridger would be cool to see
This is so cool! I'm inspired.
Thank you Keegan!
Wow these turned out great, I think you did a really good job
Thank you so much, Dom!
This is very well done.
Thanks!
Fun fact: Count Dooku's lighsaber fighting stile resembles a fencing sword fighting stile
Of course! That's why I used that piece!
I'm kinda wondering what General Grievous would look like in this style
This is amazing!!!!
Thank you Joey!
This is the first of your videos I've watched: great concept! I thought Vader and the Mandalorian worked particularly well. I'd like to see a part 2 with one of my favorites, Cad Bane, perhaps with his droid Todo 360. If you'll forgive my making a suggestion, I'd love to see Asajj Ventress as a warrior/dark sorceress.
