I remember blistering my hand on the emblem at camp with my Ulster boy scout knife. Retired it and put the Cub Scout knife back on duty. I didn't miss the can opener and I preferred the liner lock awl on the Cub knife. I don't recall if I ever got a demerit for being out of uniform with my my Cub knife at Camporee. Good memories. Scouts these days have a better selection of official knives but I'm betting we had more fun (50 years ago).
Very nice presentation of some special knives I have two Camillus Cub Scout Knives and one Boker USA Boy Scout Knife which I understand is quite rare Unfortunately it’s not in great condition I didn’t keep my own knives from the Scouts These were bought at flea markets and antique shops but I see your family had the good sense to take care of your things so now you still have them in your old age I do have the Plumb Boy Scout Hand Axe Dad gave me when I joined He was so proud of me and I will treasure it forever Thanks Tom for every memory you invoke

I'll bet we had more fun also. The knife sure brings back memories and I'm glad that I still have it. Thanks for watching KCO!

Some very cool knives. Great video 👍
Thank you very much Jeremey!
I picked up one of these and it has flat crosshatches on the scales which look gray. All good except for broken point on can opener.
Nice! But how are you going to open your beans? lol. Thanks for sharing, and for watching, my friend.
Hi buddy! I think I got one of those, I have one with the white covers. Thanks!!
They are great knives. Thanks for checking it out KD!
Beaytil blade brother . I have some camp knives I love em
Thanks Tom! Camp knives are kind of the "duct tape" or "baling wire" of the knife world. So many small tasks can be done with them.
Very nice.
Thanks my friend!
