Peruri 88 combines Jakarta´s need for green space with its need for higher densities, whilst drawing on typologies from the current urban fabric. I love how it’s full of trees and stuff, pretty magical but at the same time I don’t know, I hate the very idea of malls, offices, and apartments for so many different reasons yet this building incorporates all of those. It’s looks beautiful but I don’t like what it will be used for. People deserve houses with land. You need land to raise a garden. You need your own house if you want solar panels. You can’t be self sufficient in an apartment. Buildings like this one aren’t built to support human life. They are built for profit and aesthetics.

Such a wast. For the billions needed for the new capital you could build water protection for Jakarta and improve all the infrastructure of Jakarta ( and maybe even other cities too..)
