what is the difference between SoC FPGA and an SoC with eFPGA?

The eFPGA is embedded into the SoC itself. It is much smaller than an FPGA, and generally is developed at the same process node as the rest of the SoC. An SoC FPGA uses a standard FPGA, and integrates a processor core such as an Arm core with the programmable logic, either as part of the chip, or in a package. They can be the same process node or different, and they can be connected on a substrate or through an interposer or some other high-speed connection.
