What I found interesting about the debate with Dr. Wily and Dr. Light, was that all of the talking points they brought up would eventually culminate in their 22nd century creations. Light's idea in a fully sentient robot who can think for himself and do actions for the good of humanity would become X. And Wily's idea of making a powerful, fast-moving robot who is unmatched in combat would become Zero.
I like how this game humanizes Dr. Wily instead of casting him as just a one dimensional mad scientist villain. He’s a human with dreams and ambitions, just like everyone else. But what I also like is that the story doesn’t pull any punches. Just because he has good intentions, He’s still a villain and not some whiny jackass to feel sorry for.
For me, this game made it clear that Dr.Wily would be a kodomo anime villain. He's bad but... very clumsy and caricatured. Especially in that scene where Mega Man defeats him and he says "You leave me no choices ... please spare me I'm a helpless old man"

Don't ask why, but something tells me their next game will either be a Mega Man X game or Mega Man 12. All I hope for is that we get to see both series connect eventually
Well considering the x series was never referenced or hinted and that wily said he'd be back I'm guessing yes that a 12th game is very likely. Maybe it will get announced next year.
honestly, if he was, the capcom would be finally done with the original series (outside spin-offs) and would connect the original series to the X series, as it was said that Dr. Light worked on X (although I hear not entirely) while Wily worked on Zero (provided nothing was retconned or something)
I was a child when the first Mega Man game out. It was a time when video games were just starting to become fashionable as entertainment at home. At that time, the SNES was so advanced and wonderful to me! Now look at all the video game franchises and technologies that have come since. Soon, computer graphics will become visually indistinguishable from reality!
Ever since I install, watch and play this game, I was amazed (and react) the way they design young Light and young Wily. :-O P.S.: I love the way they design Dr. Thomas Light very young.
I'm a fan of megaman I like all his games, Megaman 11 has not had the chance to play it, but this ending is amazing, just to see the fact that Willy uses the double gear being a human, and it is assumed that the system is only for master robots
I see this game planting the seeds. Double Gear could easily be the basis for Mega Man X and Zero's body designs (like we see with Power Gear "charging" Robot Master weapons like X does). Light will develop Robot Master AI into robotic free will and Wily will develop Double Gear into the prototype for future Reploid mechanics, then they'll come together in the future to combine their research. Then after a final falling out, Light and Wily will independently create X and Zero. It's not a bad backstory.
@@DarkSpiderZero Not a bad theory but according to Megaman the power fighters Wily has at least drawn up the plans for Zero at that point, wether he's begun working on him is unknown but it's a possibility.
Gonzalo Torres Plus considering how huge of a status being a plumber is in video game world (and Ben 10 since I might as well reference the writing team for the recent Mega Man cartoon), its a pretty huge compliment.
Wonder if they're trying to say the Double Gear system ended up making X and Zero >.> Speed Gear could be their quickness explained, while the Power Gear could be the strength of their Busters, Zero more so since he's meant to be stronger
Oh Light, little do you know, that your creation and his ultimate creation will become the greatest of heroes, infact Wily will be responsible for saving the world from disaster. Why? Zero.
I believe that is Dr. Cossack from Mega man 4. And the female next to him was the Robotnist from Mega man comics who made Quake Woman. Only leaving 2 doctors in that room we haven't been introduce to yet.

Rock, Blues & Roll: HMMMMM?? X: I do remember that old law forbids such relationships in my old hunter days.....yet this is fun watching him!! (GO ZERO!!) Sigma: *sigh* All the more reasons to kill all humans for REPLOID EVOLUTION & WORLD DOMINATION!! Wily: What did I even do...? I'm seeing things after all these years....My boi is with a HUMAN GIRL with a doll carrying robot child???? Light: Of all the misunderstandings after all these years since college, Ya did beat me right to it...
I think he's for that here too. But he said that even with independence, humans will always treat robots like tools - UNLESS they have superior abilities to become heroes, which would let robots be accepted as independent people. Essentially, Wily thought Light was being too naive and that robots needed the double-gear system in order to be accepted as equals - if not betters - to humanity.
Dr. Mechano Didn't he actively convince the robots of Megaman 9 to join him since humans were going to throw them away eventually? I don't really know if Wily actually cares about Robots or he was using them as a way to get what he wants though (i mean, he unleashed a robot virus the very next game and like 100 years later)
I'd have liked Megaman 11 a lot more if it hadn't retconed a bunch of old canon. Such as Wily and Light separating early instead of after Protoman was created or that the original cause for their falling out was that Light kept getting all the praises when Wily was the actual project lead and the guy who built all of the hardware.
I mean it's not impossible that the two continued working with each other...just with Wily harboring one heck of a grudge, and Light being too oblivious to notice the warning signs. Wily didn't truly become a villain till he was an old man, after all.
Wily was the one who doomed it in the first place. By creating Zero and the Maverick programming, he was the one who was responsible for the maverick virus causing hundreds of years of war and death.

(Wily beg for mercy in front of Megaman)
Me: Bruh...-_-'
Edit: I think that this line is gonna be a meme.
He's always been bowing in mercy since Mega Man 1, so it's nothing new.
1:25 everyone plays Fox to TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.
Block Man and Roll sound like Knuckles and Tails.
Why did Capcom choose their voice actors
@@gbj0107 If you mean Tails and Knuckles' voice actors, that's not the case. Knuckles is voiced by Travis Willingham, and Tails is voiced by Colleen Villard, while Block Man is voiced by Marc Swint, and Roll is voiced by Erica Lindbeck. Also, Viridi is voiced by Hynden Walch (Dayci Brookshire in SSBU).
Skull pajamas AND skull bedpost. That is dedication to a theme.
Don't ask why, but something tells me their next game will either be a Mega Man X game or Mega Man 12. All I hope for is that we get to see both series connect eventually
This game has some decent voice acting. A lot better than the laughably awful voice acting from Mega Man 8!
Dr. Wawy
Megaman sounds better in 8
what about X4
WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOORRRRRRR
Mega Man’s voice is too deep for his age.
@@nikhilcruz excatly
Better tham Megaman 8's voice acting
BillCipherKebab /trianglemaster
I’m glad you’re on my side!
DR WIWEY
Megaman 12 possible
😮
I made a fan made of megaman 12
Well considering the x series was never referenced or hinted and that wily said he'd be back I'm guessing yes that a 12th game is very likely. Maybe it will get announced next year.
Future robot masters suggested by the Game Grumps:
Cash Man, Ash Man, Sash Man, Splash Man, Trash Man, Brash Man, Mash Man, Dash Man, and, of course, Stash Man.
Like despacito 12
"My plans have just only begun..." Wait, that mean we will get Mega Man 22.
at the rate this is going, we'll not only have Mega Man 926, but also every word in the dictionary as the name to a robot master...
He's talking about Zero and the Maverick Virus, I presume
honestly, if he was, the capcom would be finally done with the original series (outside spin-offs) and would connect the original series to the X series, as it was said that Dr. Light worked on X (although I hear not entirely) while Wily worked on Zero (provided nothing was retconned or something)
@@DarkFrozenDepths
That'll be an 18+ game
I was a child when the first Mega Man game out. It was a time when video games were just starting to become fashionable as entertainment at home. At that time, the SNES was so advanced and wonderful to me! Now look at all the video game franchises and technologies that have come since. Soon, computer graphics will become visually indistinguishable from reality!
Ever since I install, watch and play this game, I was amazed (and react) the way they design young Light and young Wily. :-O
P.S.: I love the way they design Dr. Thomas Light very young.
The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection
Frick
I see big parallels between astro boy's ochanomizu and Tenma with pretty much the same concept being told in the story.
Woah.
I'm a fan of megaman I like all his games, Megaman 11 has not had the chance to play it, but this ending is amazing, just to see the fact that Willy uses the double gear being a human, and it is assumed that the system is only for master robots
Although it's a little lame, though unexpected, how he uses it just to enter his classic _dogeza_ pose.
Are we getting mega man 12
Superfighter 64 It probably depends on if 11 sounds good.
hopefully. Gotta have faith in CAPCOM
I made a fan made megaman 13
I mean you can’t just give an open ending and NOT make a sequel
I sure Hope so.
14:36 I wonder how the previous robot masters are doing right now if they're still functional..
I hope we get the game that bridges MegaMan and X
I don't mind if we don't get a game that bridges the two, I just wanna know wtf happened between games.
Shiny Samurott
Me too
I see this game planting the seeds.
Prolly mm10 roboenza seems like maverick virus
@@DarkSpiderZero Not a bad theory but according to Megaman the power fighters Wily has at least drawn up the plans for Zero at that point, wether he's begun working on him is unknown but it's a possibility.
I actually prefer Mega Man's voice in this game. It suits him well.
Look at all the Robot Masters
ROLL IS SO FREAKING CUTE IN THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Wily actually was a good looking dude back then.
Rock is a plumber? Wow.
Rey Goh Well, he's originally a housekeeping robot.
Gonzalo Torres Plus considering how huge of a status being a plumber is in video game world (and Ben 10 since I might as well reference the writing team for the recent Mega Man cartoon), its a pretty huge compliment.
He learned from Mario
I thought it was a vacuum.
@@paulwebb2078 After the events of the Mega Man reveal trailer in SSB4, Mario taught Mega Man how to be a plumber. XD
(i'm joking)
Omg the voice acting is so good
Wonder if they're trying to say the Double Gear system ended up making X and Zero >.> Speed Gear could be their quickness explained, while the Power Gear could be the strength of their Busters, Zero more so since he's meant to be stronger
Well at least dr.wily was kind enough to say farewell instead of saying fuck you both.lmao 😂😂😂😂.
as always Wily never change but i just hope the megaman franchise keep more games coming and not collection editions of the old ones
Megaman: I HAVE A BROOM AND I AM NOT AFRAID TO USE IT!!!!!!!!!
This sounds something that Roll would say
Block man talks like the one eye robot from ok Ko let's be friends!
Darrel right?
Yes sound familiar!
Or puppet Steve
1:44 3:47 3:55 4:15 Block man is the best
11:28 That's plan B?! HAHAHAHA!!
"Nobody blocks Block Man!" I wonder if that's how he reacts to being blocked on Twitter or Facebook?...
Oh Light, little do you know, that your creation and his ultimate creation will become the greatest of heroes, infact Wily will be responsible for saving the world from disaster. Why? Zero.
2:23 Ouch, Roll! You sure can deliver a sick burn!
Are we gonna appreciate how a chicken drumstick is convincingly placed in a microwave? 🍗
The voice acting is so damn good.
Come to think of it eventually SEGA and CapCom would have to make a Sonic and Megaman crossover game soon I hope
The scientists with blonde hair at the beginning looks like a young doctor Caine from megaman x
I believe that is Dr. Cossack from Mega man 4. And the female next to him was the Robotnist from Mega man comics who made Quake Woman. Only leaving 2 doctors in that room we haven't been introduce to yet.
I totally forgot all about him but ya I bet its Dr Crossack
It Cossack since Dr.Cain live in 21XX
Wily: Remember this! Dr. Wily always strikes again!
...and again...
...and again...
...and again...
...and again...
...and again...
...and again...
Megaman:😨
Even 100 years later he still strikes again
And finally, another 100 years later, he says "MY BOI OUTLIVES YA BOI LIGHT!! And why he's hanging out with a girl??"
HAHAHAHAH👌😂😂
Write it down ✍
Zero: I can't seem to remember u well over how awesome my theme and me in this wicked body fresh outta the medical lab, but sure. *grab Ciel & Alouette shoulders with him* Uphold X & Ciel's dreams n ideals, destroy evil humans and former friends to put X in shame, put an stompin' on da ass of that rouge elf wearing me sickass body, and forget I even had a old goal in the first place. Got It.
Ciel: ??? *blush outta control with heart angels flying around* Z-ZERO??
Alouette: And that's why I admired him for his amazingness! :)
Bass: *sigh* This is gonna take a while...
Rock, Blues & Roll: HMMMMM??
X: I do remember that old law forbids such relationships in my old hunter days.....yet this is fun watching him!! (GO ZERO!!)
Sigma: *sigh* All the more reasons to kill all humans for REPLOID EVOLUTION & WORLD DOMINATION!!
Wily: What did I even do...? I'm seeing things after all these years....My boi is with a HUMAN GIRL with a doll carrying robot child????
Light: Of all the misunderstandings after all these years since college, Ya did beat me right to it...
At 9:28 megaman becomes the happiest boi ever!!!
i don’t like mega man’s older voice in this game, the voice of mega-man in Fully charged was a good voice actor example for an older megaman.
Wow roll voice actor erica lindbeck is the same voice actor for barbie and fotuba from prosana series and barbie from barbie series blaze from sonic❤
It's kinda weird how in the Megamix manga Wily is all for giving robots independent thought and letting them act on it.
Dr. Mechano
Didn't he actively convince the robots of Megaman 9 to join him since humans were going to throw them away eventually? I don't really know if Wily actually cares about Robots or he was using them as a way to get what he wants though (i mean, he unleashed a robot virus the very next game and like 100 years later)
11:25 top 10 most useful attacks
I'd have liked Megaman 11 a lot more if it hadn't retconed a bunch of old canon. Such as Wily and Light separating early instead of after Protoman was created or that the original cause for their falling out was that Light kept getting all the praises when Wily was the actual project lead and the guy who built all of the hardware.
I mean it's not impossible that the two continued working with each other...just with Wily harboring one heck of a grudge, and Light being too oblivious to notice the warning signs.
Wily didn't truly become a villain till he was an old man, after all.
The amount of humans in the classic series was doubled in the intro
wow rolls english VA's the same for Futaba from P5 and Ashley from wario ware gold... YES!
10:21 is wily's weybrow wiggling slightly?
Fun fact. Zero was created by Wily. And in MMZ4, Zero stops Ragnarok from falling to earth. So in a way, Wily saved the world.
Wily was the one who doomed it in the first place. By creating Zero and the Maverick programming, he was the one who was responsible for the maverick virus causing hundreds of years of war and death.
@@smugsneasel You re right I am tired of these brainless morons who says zero saved the future he is the one who infected sigma in the first place
Maybe they will make MegaMan 12 and 13 in somewhere in 2019 or 2020.
If that actually happened, I would be so happy! 😁
Mega Man does sound too old
That voice woukd be more fitting for X
8:36 I don’t think has ever been brought in any of the mega man games. If Light had given Willy and his invention a chance maybe he wouldn’t become the mad scientist that we now know today.
Am I the only one who thinks Young Wily looks like Xander Payne?
3:50 They are Dr Light's robots?!
Yeah but Tundra Man was made by Cossack.
I really wanted that Roll was playable in this game
It would be great if she played like Megaman Powered Up or even Megaman Maker (or megaman sequel wars if want to count it)
11:30 that is getting very old and very fast. He should know that won't work anymore.
1:07
Dr.Wily conformed in smash
