Enjoyed watching this video of the past times in Olongapo City. Lived out in town on Fendler street and Kessing street back in 89-92. Also stationed onboard the USS NIAGARA FALLS AFS-3. This is a beautiful place and beautiful people. Love the culture and the food. You cant beat this place. Aim High Olongapo.
Thank you for posted these Video . I’m the one wearing yellow top and skirt jeans you took from Richards Tailor shop. I lived in San Diego. Thank you for the memories .
Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it. I was in OLONGAPO in 1961, was in the Marines. Made some memories I'll never forget, I think about it often, thanks again ~USA
Station dito PC3 '86-'88 USNS Post Office Subic Bay PH, lived out in town, good times thanks for the upload 3y to go until retirement and I'm going back (already been there 4x in 2017-18 to make sure lol)
I was there in 1983 also. I used to go to a bar called The Fur Trader, and met a woman who went by the name Marsha De La Cruz, but her real name was Marcia Borromeo. I wish I would have married her.
Aim High Olongapo :D Deployed to Subic in 83 and 84 out of Okinawa (D Battery, 2/12) and loved PI and the people. Beautiful island nation. 10/10 Would Go Again.
Robert here, loved all my '80 -'84 time in Olongapo City, lived in Foster St, New Kapabae, East Tapinac, East BajacBajac. Onto Quezon City to get married, & kids. Here in San Diego now. Conscious is still remembering Magsaysay Dr though.
I was stationed at SRF(Ship Repair Facility) Subic Bay from 11/20/1978 to 3/30/1981 when I was in the Navy. It was the very best tour of duty I ever had when I was in the Navy. My tour of duty was way far too short. I met my late wife of 31 years on 1/16/1975 on my very first Westpac Cruise in the Navy. We didn't get married till 4/5/1979 a few months after I got stationed at SRF Subic Bay. My late wife passed away on 3/6/2010, a month shy of being married 31 years. My late wife was a wonderful wife & mother. We had 3 children.
Christopher S. O' Christopher, were you on the USS Bronstein during the ‘78-‘81 years? I ask bc my late father was stationed there during that time (Navy, as well) on the USS Bronstein and wonder if you knew each other.
Nice to see the old Philippines. In 1989 I was listening to some underground Hip Hop.....and listening to old stale jokes about Emelda Marcos many shoes. Lol
My grade school classmate in the Philippines married a USAF airman she met at Clark AFB in 1964. They are STILL married and living in the USA. I just hope that majority of these Filipino women who married US servicemen have remained married and happy with their family lives. I cannot blame them for what they did in order to meet and marry US servicemen. I think many of these Filipinas have remained faithful to their husbands and families, once they got out of poverty. And I am thankful for American men to keep their marriage commitment to these women, once they had settled in the USA. (Is any statistics on the divorce rate of these marriages compared to all marriages in the USA?)
Hello, everyone...can I ask if who has been in the jungle in olongapo city Philippines, knew about the bar name D'hogdes bar..,can anyone remember name Rhea working at this bar in 1980s...,I need the last name if who knews this girl and meet them.., please help🥺
Princess Massage in the Jungle, I should have married Olga, misyado maganda, but I was young and dumb on DOD Subic Bay, got married in Manila, divorced 24 yrs later. But hey there's wisdom in knowing Filipina culture.
PTriddy watch Nelson Sullivan's videos. He was a videographer and his videos are of NYC 1981-1989 when he died of a heart attack. His friend uploads the vault. He documented day and night life of NYC and the Village. His videos are recognized as work of art. Idk google him
The style of bikini bottoms in tje 80s and 90s are so much more attractive imo. I hate how they wear them across under the hips nowdays. As a woman i prefer the high cut sides.
