I worked in Anchor Mills for 19 years. Started off as colour matcher alongside old Claude Harper (Clod Hopper!). I was one of the last ones to leave.... kicked out the cat and turned off the lights. Best job I ever had in my life.. I loved the place and the people.
20 minute weep spent on a Saturday morning watching. Great to see this history or what was once an amazing site. Nice work.

My eldest brother used to work at the Anchor mill. Side note, I am sure I went to school with Richard Vassie provider of photographs used here.
My brothers first job was also in the anchor mills office.
