- "Never say goodbye,
Never say goodbye,
You say tomorrow's another day,
All I know is we're here today.
I've got nightmares i could never share with you,
The kind that keeps me up all night.
So hold me tight till the room is light
And tell me that it's all right.
Never say goodbye,
Never say goodbye,
We may go our separate ways some day,
But we know we shared our dreams today.
I've got nightmares i would never wish on you,
The kind that keeps me down all day.
So hold me tight till the sky is light
And tell me that it's all right.
Never say goodbye,
Never say goodbye.
(it's getting light)
Never say goodbye..."
It's from her 1982 album 'It's Alright'
I'd forgotten how much I loved this song...I must have played it hundreds of times then.
grew up on punk and Yoko.. she's class!!
I have made it one my missions in life to show as many people I can just how brilliant and underrated, not to mention unfairly maligned, Yoko Ono's music is. She's a genius.
Garrett Johnson That's so beautiful!
I'm with you.
Sure, this is a good song, but she has a lot of terrible music too.
I used to go to the SF Museum of Modern Art once a month. Ono's exhibit was packed with people and it was completely mind-blowing and stylistic. The one that made the longest-lasting impression.
She is.
I really love this song!
Woah. This sounds ahead of it's time to me.
she can sing got a nice voice I don't understand why she does that howling when she has talent
Right, lmao
because she wants to, and because there are people like me who love her howling as well as her singing. Yoko is complex and her work embraces a huge array of emotions.
You say tomorrow's another day,
All i know is we're here today ♫♫ :)
Stay strong.....R.I.P. John
NICE PIC OF JOHN AND YOKO
実に叙情的で美しい歌、すばらしい。
What a lyrical and beautiful song Yoko-san made ! I like it very much .
Yoko-sama
WTF - Tanya Donelly brought me here.
Yep.
Esto suena a canción de Galatzia.
I'm sorry you suffered such abuse as a child.
Mi piacciono molto molto dischi di Yoko Ono... Ma con questo faccio un po' più di fatica...
I will say it again she cannot sing darn I don't care what anyone says
hey. if you don't like it move on, you won't be missed ;-)
I love her music, it´s fantastic & gorgeous. It shakes me completely and get involved with theese sounds!
Let me count the waves is good..i wish Kate Bush wud do a Ono covers album...
Arguably it has to be said that Ono had more talent than her late husband; her music has debth to it, and if u listen long & hard enough, it's more transitional than Harrison, who had more of a gift of music than, Lennon and more so than McCartney. I'd say that Ono place in history is written ore and ultimately in amber. It will be the 12th of never before this legend is forgotten, and I mean that most sincerely. I love you Dear Yoko. x
I thought I was the only one who liked this song...glad to know many many more too
Yokazo!
I played this song hundreds of times!
and from this came artists like Little Dragon....
The background sounds like a staple gun hitting a metal trash can... Still better then modern music...
Sera de lo que se de ella que me parece poco agradable esta canción
never say never, good bye .
Who knows how many hundreds of times I played this back then!
Very Sci Fi intro Godzilla 😎
Gli ultimi 30 secondi però mi piacciono molto

Really liked this song.
"Ringo o tabemass'ka?"

AMO AMO AMO.
AMAMOS AMAMOS AMAMOS
"it is not on "Double Fant-sushi".
Daniel Bouju, 😂😂😂😂
Thank god for Paul McCartney, at least he wrote nice songs.........John and Yoko were nuts
I shudder to think of how generic and safe your record collection must be.
I have a very broad taste in music, covering a very wide variety of genres, from world music, classical, alternative rock, new age, electronic music.. etc ......i just feel that Lennon's solo career was vastly overrated...... he lost his pop songwriting sensibility. I'm not saying that McCartney's solo career was outstanding, but at least he stuck close to his strengths(melodic tunes)........Lennon was meant to be the innovator, after 1970 Lennon rarely came close to his innovative best....he just sounded miserable and unimaginative.
Tez Wint Incorporated That's all well and good but your comment was in regards to a Yoko Ono post, not John Lennon.
John still wrote pop songs, Paul was an innovator as much as anyone in the Beatles (and there's plenty of weird on McCartney II), and this is a great song (as are Walking on Thin Ice, Let Tears Dry, etc)
Jealous little man. Afraid of powerful woman. Lol
