I'm an American. I love the London Tube and the S Stock. The automated announcer has such a sexy Cockney accent. The Met line is so scenic. I wish they could have nice trains like this in NYC, but people would cut up the cushioned seats. Instead, the seats are hard plastic.
Some of the stations look more like commuter railroad (intercity railroad) stations than subway (underground) stations. I must visit London
I Googled a London Tube map. Damn it is complicated. Even more complicated than my hometown NYC subway.
Fun part: 21:00- 29:00
If you like the soft seats of the "S" Stock trains, you would have loved the old "A" Stock trains, there's over 400 soft transverse highback seats and the trains have a high speed limit of 70 mph but can exceed it by quite a bit

S stocks are my favourite train ever
Good video. I play an audio game on my computer and this particular run is on there. The audio game is called tube Sim, and basically you’re the driver of each underground train. Unfortunately the Waterloo and city line isn’t on there, but I wonder if it’s because that isn’t running at the moment due to the current situation? Not sure. Anyway, good video. However, for anyone that is watching this and is visually impaired like myself, when the train stops at any station, could you make sure you don’t edit out the announcement when it tells you where you are? This would be really helpful. I know it tells you before you get there, but both are really handy to hear.

I did this journey today. Nice trains, very long and boring journey though. I had to change onto the central line for Epping at Liverpool Street Station. Another long and boring journey. In total I spent 4 hours on the train going from zone 6 to zone 6 and back again. I was only in Uxbridge for an hour.
Perhaps I can add some extra info on this as a regular Met line user (my local station is Rayners Lane, 5 in from Uxbridge on this video):
You have all stations, semi-fast and fast services (though the fast ones are very rare). The semi-fast knocks out Northwick Park and Preston Road, the fast one knocks out Harrow-on-the-hill, Wembley Park and Great Portland Street, but like I say they are really hard to find. Hope that helps, and thanks for posting these, they're strangely enthrauling :)
That sounds really really interesting. On the audio game I play on my Computer cord tube Sim, the semi fast and fast services aren’t on there, it’s the stopping Service is on there.

i been on the s7 for hammersmith and city line and C stock for waterloo it was weird it looked just like piccadilly line

why did the announcer say that on harrow on the hill you can change for Amersham and Watford? I think you can go to Chesham also
It's because in 2010 when the S Stock trains were launched the 4 Car Chesham shuttle was still running and it was very rare to catch a Chesham train at any other station than Chalfont & Latimer and they probably haven't updated the announcement at the time this was recorded

They really should have put a loop service or something in with the central line and met lines up that end. It was strangely never considered, don't know why. Would have been very useful, as your case has clearly shown.

It's always a much faster journey from Uxbridge to Hillingdon than vice versa, although I'm not sure why.
