    Hey jab, thanks for the feedback, I will warn all the guys who ask for metallic leather about this, we are in the process to have pearlized leather, not as shiny as metallic but will hold much better.

    The Pu version provides great feedback while protecting your knuckles very well. Love it! Have it in 16 and 12oz!

    great review champ. do u recommend these gloves for people with big hands? I know the reyes gloves have a small hand pocket. thanks again, subscribed. cant wait to check out ur other videos.

      Yes I do. These have a bigger hand compartment than the Reyes. My younger brother has big hands and he has no issues with how the Boxeo TM fits.

    that is another issue with the flaking on the metallic gloves. I have some red green and silver gloves, and the red on top which is the primary color is already giving out and i dont even use them much...so it makes the glove look old lol.

    Just got the Boxeo TM in all black with velcro. My hands are only about 7.5" long so I got the 12 oz. They are a work of art! Just an amazing glove! I just contacted Juan and ordered a lace-up version and will add some Lace N Loops.

      Hey, can I ask you why did you get a pair with Velcro and one with laces?

    • @bretth5070
      @bretth5070 2 года назад +2

      @@cribsone I originally wanted lace-ups because they tend to last longer since they don't have Velcro to wear out. But, I didn't want to find someone at the gym every time to lace-up my gloves so I went with the Velcro. However, afterwards I learned about Lace n Loops which allows one to turn lace-up gloves into Velcro when necessary. So, now the lace-ups with the Lace n Loops give the best of both worlds.

    Did you use maintenance for the leather or just threw it in the bag after working with it? That is surprising that the gold was flaking like that after just 2 months for sparring and mitt work at that..

    • @Jab_187
      @Jab_187  3 года назад +1

      I cleaned and take care of my gloves bagger my workout. The only thing I could think of is that I sweat a lot. I need to take multiple shirts when I workout. I’m guessing that made the gold wear out a lot faster than normal.

    Hey man I have a couple of questions I hope you don’t mind answering. How tall are you and how much do you weigh? I’m asking because I want to know if those gloves would be a little too big for me since I have small hands. When I use cletos it’s a pretty tight fight with my wraps on. Would you say these are bigger or smaller than cletos in rhe hand compartment.

    Great review , i really like the look of these gloves good to hear that they are on weight , I got some New Sporting 16 oz & they weighed 19.5 oz !! I think thats just how it goes with the metallic colours , all the gloves that i have with metallic have faded fast apart from a pair of Sabas custom made gloves they held up pretty good . Keep the reviews coming its great to get a personal take on boxing gear . Thanks bro .

      Aside from New Sporting being overweight, how do you like them? I am considering getting myself a pair of New Sporting or GIL next. I know GIL will be overweight too unfortunately.
      Also thanks for the support. It is appreciated.

      @@Jab_187 Hi , yeah the New Sporting are great , although they are well over weight they are very well balanced so they don't actually feel that heavy when you use them . The lining could be better there are a couple of areas that don't cover the foam . The feedback on them feels nice you get a good pop . I've never used Gil gloves but they look like top notch quality they could be next on my to buy list ! I've heard great things about Russian Boxer gloves , basically they are the same as Grant . I have a pair of Grant 14 oz & they weigh about 15.5 oz and are pretty big in the hand compartment similar to a Winning 16oz. So if you got the Russian Boxers in 12oz they would be close to a true 14oz in weight & size . One negative regarding New Sporting was the customer service , talk about giving you the run around , i had to get a refund through PayPal & ended up buying a pair from a private seller on ebay . Having said that you should check out the "Fit to Box" channel the presenter Simon shows you a much better way to buy them & it looks as though New Sporting have got their quality control back up & running so its all good . Good luck with the channel keep em coming .

      @@paulslims5870 Hi Paul, thanks for the review on New Sporting. I have heard negative things about their customer service. Which is unfortunate. I also believe you are talking about Edgar The boxing collector. He has boutique Mexican gloves for sale such as Boxeo, Lopez, and New Sporting. I would also recommend Box Up Nation. They have some of the best customer service and they frequently have GILs (although they do sell out fast).

      @@Jab_187 Hey thanks for the heads up on the Box up Nation i'll check it out . Yeah Edga you're right he's the man i was talking about . I think New Sporting did have a small wobble for a while i heard that they started making gloves for No Boxing No Life , due to them being a smaller outfit they went into overload & couldn't maintain the incoming orders anyway it's just speculation but i've got to say i love my New Sporting gloves & i do recommend them & they seem to be getting back on track so respect to them you can't shoot down a company for a short dip in the span of their lifetime . I don't know if you've checked out Salvador gloves but i like the look of them . Anyway got to go , got my New Sporting in my bag & i'm off to the gym to hit some stuff / things .Peace out .

      @@Jab_187 GIL gloves are very good quality, but they are very, very hard and hard both inside and out. My 12-ounce hybrid closure pair actually weighed 16 ounces. These gloves take a long time to break them. I use them only on the bag, because when working with partners it was very easy to injure. But on the bags, they were unsurpassed in terms of performance. They are not comfortable, but effective :)

    i have big ass hands and i feel like these torres medina gloves are to damn big from the hand area and it has a little wrist area...when you put your hand in, you cant really get your fingers all the way down in them because they are so long in the hand area. I have big hands to, so if you have small hands or even medium, i wouldn't recommend these.
