i would like the comment but...
It takes me 30 min minimum to fall asleep at all unless I’m absolutely dead exhausted from physical labor
But i can't even sleep in afternoon, one day i tried like for 3 hours straight and couldn't sleep but i was laying like dead on bed for 3 hours 😑

Yeah there's something called as sleep grace period... I don't trust napping being like sleeping lol. For me at least if I have to nap, it means I'm closing my eyes and find a cozy corner and just lay my head down and don't do anything. Maybe not refreshing but definitely worth the break. Remember ppl, there's nothing equivalent or more refreshing than your ACTUAL full 8 hours of sleep with good quality of sleep.

I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The one benefit to that is that I can nap anywhere, anytime. Lying down, sitting up, in the dark, in full daylight, in complete quiet or in a loud environment.
The problem is that I can’t do it for just eight minutes. A "brief" nap for me is 2.5-3 hours. After that, I can usually function for about 6-7 hours before needing to sleep again.
It’s not fun.

it's just called nsdr, non sleep deep rest, a lot of people do this, taxi drivers usually hold their keys above the ground and rest, once they enter deep rest and are about to fall asleep they drop the keys and wake up

I had several power naps but accidently. It mostly happened at school where i am so tired and uncontrollably dozing off at class and if i managed to sleep for like 5 to 10 mins uninterrupted and wake up i would feel much more energised and dont feel sleepy anymore

I practice 30 minute naps where you fall asleep in 2 minutes using military techniques, I just sit in the chair, and fall asleep in 2 minutes; after 30 minutes, Im refreshed for at least 5 hours, I use that if I didn't sleep the night before

There is acct some science to this, i did a first aid course and turns out that is the exact same as the shock position (When ever a person goes into shock from an event or blood loss, you have to put them in that position)
