I am a rly good keeper, but you need to not stand on the goal line when making a save. If you stand on the line, firstly you may think you have more reaction time to make the save, and that is true, but what if the player is taking a close shot (like lets say a shot from just in front of the penalty shot) you would want to rush out. because if your on the goal line and he is going to slot it bottom corner, you not saving it. you would want to rush out, so it puts the player under pressure and they have to shoot immediately. and if they still have the ball you can use a low dive and catch. Reason two, if someone takes a shot and your teammate deflects it, and he makes a good job of it and it touches just the outside the post, it will be a corner. but you could dive and catch the ball to stop the corner. if your on the goal line, your head will just smash into the post if you dive and it will go out for a corner. yes not all corners result in a goal but like 30% of em do. Thirdly this does not really mattar but like mentioned in last point your head hits the post if you dive and it just looks really unprofessional. Good video btw

A tip for goalkeepers, if you lower your FOV, the shots will look slower from shorter distances, giving you plenty of time to save

One thing, i advice you guys is being calm. Like, many times i see people not waiting for the shot and jumping already, i did many times that too, many goals i taked, could been easy saves.

i got a problem and it has happend twice now, in corners once the ball was coming i throwed myself and hit it an even presse R to catch it and it punched it away and they scored on me

You can actually change in settings the dives, u can make the dives randomly:
High dive mouseclick2
Low dive mouseclick1
Clear e

10:37 what i do is i set my fov to 60.99 which makes ball slower and i dont early dive i follow abit then dive and it always works

Now if you own a private server (Not a training private server) u can train with the :crossers command just a kick a ball into it and u can try and save it! (This is for single-player training)
