His lyrics in songs like "Jesus Christ", "I Ain't Got No Home In This World Anymore", and even "This Land is Your Land" are all pretty explicitly anti-capitalist, or at the very least anti-rich, and many of his quotes support that ideology as well. Okada doesn't really get it. Anarchy *is* chaos. It's just every man for himself. Mad Max. *Anarchism*, on the other hand, refers to an ideology of self-governance through communal direct democracy. Basically, anarchy is statelessness, and anarchism is an ideology of statelessness. But that isn't to say the state removes chaos. On the contrary, it creates chaos. Wars, poverty, artificial scarcity, famines, subsidisation of risk and privatisation of profits, economic depressions and so on. A lot of chaos is manufactured to help further the interests of the bourgeoisie, or ruling class. In order to favour capital growth. They create crime waves by rigging credit systems, they create disease epidemics by patenting medicine, they create high taxation by inflating the deficit in order to redistribute your wealth to the banks, and so on. All anarchism does is abolish the state, and segment society into smaller communes. It also allows workers to commonly own the means of production. Replacing your boss with democracy, basically. Allowing each worker to have a say in how the company is managed, and providing the full value of their labour as equal shares of the profit rather than giving it to idle shareholders. The benefits of a commune are several. For one thing, your vote is more powerful, and makes much more sense. As it affects a group of 300-3000 people, rather than 300.000.000 people in the US, for instance. It also removes representatives, and lets regular people vote directly on policy. This means that people who like smoking in restaurants, for instance, can have their own commune, and people who don't can have another, and so on. Making democracy more powerful and fair towards large groups of people. Rather than having 151 million people deciding the fates of 149 million and so on. This is a basic introduction into what anarchism is. It has a stateless government, and it uses this to remove chaos. Unlike a state government, that manufactures and profits off of chaos.
The "people" are a non-entity. What you call an "organization of the people" is nought but a mass of dissimilar, uncooperative, atomized individualists who are so far removed from any kind of unity that once a sufficiently difficult obstacle comes to their survival they slaughter each other and eat their own flesh just to live [assuming that they have not degenerated to the point of becoming man-children who burst into tears every time they don't get free happy meals and cannot even run or work due to obesity-induced muscular atrophy].

His lyrics in songs like "Jesus Christ", "I Ain't Got No Home In This World Anymore", and even "This Land is Your Land" are all pretty explicitly anti-capitalist, or at the very least anti-rich, and many of his quotes support that ideology as well.

Okada doesn't really get it. Anarchy *is* chaos. It's just every man for himself. Mad Max. *Anarchism*, on the other hand, refers to an ideology of self-governance through communal direct democracy.
Basically, anarchy is statelessness, and anarchism is an ideology of statelessness. But that isn't to say the state removes chaos. On the contrary, it creates chaos. Wars, poverty, artificial scarcity, famines, subsidisation of risk and privatisation of profits, economic depressions and so on. A lot of chaos is manufactured to help further the interests of the bourgeoisie, or ruling class. In order to favour capital growth. They create crime waves by rigging credit systems, they create disease epidemics by patenting medicine, they create high taxation by inflating the deficit in order to redistribute your wealth to the banks, and so on.
All anarchism does is abolish the state, and segment society into smaller communes. It also allows workers to commonly own the means of production. Replacing your boss with democracy, basically. Allowing each worker to have a say in how the company is managed, and providing the full value of their labour as equal shares of the profit rather than giving it to idle shareholders.
The benefits of a commune are several. For one thing, your vote is more powerful, and makes much more sense. As it affects a group of 300-3000 people, rather than 300.000.000 people in the US, for instance. It also removes representatives, and lets regular people vote directly on policy.
This means that people who like smoking in restaurants, for instance, can have their own commune, and people who don't can have another, and so on. Making democracy more powerful and fair towards large groups of people. Rather than having 151 million people deciding the fates of 149 million and so on.
This is a basic introduction into what anarchism is. It has a stateless government, and it uses this to remove chaos. Unlike a state government, that manufactures and profits off of chaos.
The "people" are a non-entity. What you call an "organization of the people" is nought but a mass of dissimilar, uncooperative, atomized individualists who are so far removed from any kind of unity that once a sufficiently difficult obstacle comes to their survival they slaughter each other and eat their own flesh just to live [assuming that they have not degenerated to the point of becoming man-children who burst into tears every time they don't get free happy meals and cannot even run or work due to obesity-induced muscular atrophy].
