Dito 🙌🏼 i do think a second wave of vlogging is still to come on RUclips, for the average person that is, more raw real life vlogs, like back in the day. Because the average person (like some of my friends ) still dont know what vlogging is haha
Its so easy to get swept away on RUclips, we have gone down loads of worm holes 🕳️ we started the same as you & it was all about Family memories & things to look back on, although our kids are now 16, 19 & 20 so don’t really want to be included much, Even June prefers to not to be in them so I find myself going solo quite a bit 🫢😬. I think Thats why I’ve turned to Circus content for a while until I find my way again 🙄Hope your week is going well, Take Care ❤🫶x
It defiantly is so easy isn't it 🤦🏻♀ My oldest has never been bothered about being on the vlog, my second eldest doesn't mind but she's never home haha. Corben use to but hes 11 now and not as bothered. Blake loves it so I need to make the memories while I can as im sure she will become less interested at some point. David loves vlogging so I need to get him back on it now ive changed the name back hahah. this was originally his channel back in the day 🤣 You could visit different towns and city centres or stay in the cheapest hotels and see what they are like. theres a lot of that content that does really well, The Hotel Hunter UK is good, id do that but im a girl and wouldn't feel safe lol
@@theshaulfamily Thanks for the idea’s but as a solo older man I seem to attract trouble so I don’t think staying in hotels would be a good thing 🙄plus I don’t think June would be too happy about me doing that 🫢😂 My last too solo visits didn’t go too well, but thats something i can tell you about if we ever bump into each other, if you watch my last Yorkshire wildlife Park Full video, I do mention something in that & last Night at the circus at Barnsley, the Trailer looks fun but behind the Camera was a totally different experience 😬, I think I may just go back to eating out videos 🤣 My Fish & Chip shops used to do well, I can go in search of the best Chippy in Yorkshire 😜🤤 Have a lovely Midweek ❤️🫶x

Awh Donetta, I know how you feel. I stopped doing the grocery hauls on my channel because I don't really enjoy them. I'll support my friends when they do them but I agree with what Blake said 🙈I much prefer watching vlogs, but I do enjoy seeing clothing hauls 🤷♀your brain seems to work the same way as mine haha. That's what I like about the vlogging too, it also motivates me. Kids magazines are crazy prices nowadays. I went to get a cat one for Florrie the other day and that was £5.99 too. I put it straight back!! Oof honestly, dettol and bleach gets me 💦💦💦. Enjoyed this xxx
Yeah they are just so easy to do arnt they, I got lazy lol and they do better than vlogs, but I need to remember I dont make any money haha I do it for the memories plus I love vlogging and editing vlogs. I am thinking I might do hauls and clotting stuff on other social medias, so im still doing them but then I have this channel just for vlogs xx I might do stuff on TikTok and Facebook xx
It's blooming difficult on RUclips getting the balance of content. It seems like viewers want shopping and food, so I want to make them happy by including lots of that, but then loose track of my original aim. I feel your pain. I'm trying to reign mine back to plan A since I set up the second channel JUST for shopping, and that does sooo much better for views, even with a quarter of the subs of my main vlogging channel.
Yes this is it, vlogs never do as well but I need to remember I only make pennies lol Its the memories that are priceless, plus I much more enjoy creating and editing vlogs than hauls. You have it spot on though on your channels, im thinking I might do more hauls etc on other social medias, and dip my toe into them, then just keep my RUclips for the vlogs xx
