Doing research on belt to chain conversion kits, 21f 51 to 55r Is usually what most of u run but what if I wanted a higher top speed than factory? And do these set ups also apply to the 883?

How much chain slack do you run? I've heard 5/8-3/4 and 1-1.25 inches.
