In February, there was a large amount of snow in Yatsugatake.
The southern foot has long hours of sunshine, so there are many sunny days even in winter.
Occasionally, there are times when it snows with a bang,
I also shoveled snow for the first time in several years, and the next day my body was sore from the usual muscle pain.
This time, I went out to a casual daily life with a cat and a "beautiful forest" since autumn leaves.
The wooden stairs are perfect for walking here, and it will be a fun walk while admiring the scenery.
However, near the summit, the road becomes quite rough due to melting snow and frost columns.
(May require boots or snow boots)

It's been 19 years since I moved from Tokyo to the southern foot of Yatsugatake.
I write about rural life in my 60s and living alone.
