@@Pauldoesclaymation I don't think you can really consider Olivia and Keith new anymore lmao, they joined in like 2014-2015. At this point they've almost been part of smosh the same amount of time as Anthony (Anthony left after 11 years, the "new" cast has been here for like 8-9)

It’s kind of crazy when you think about it: No matter how much we might’ve enjoyed the content, Defy was genuinely super shitty and almost all the cast (all channels) hated them
Not going to lie I never thought them to hate each other I thought they dated each other ever since to put it in my mouth collabs like usually both of them make out with each other
So one of the things I am quite confused with, do they blame Defy, Smosh, the people they worked with, or themselves for the issues that caused them to leave? So far they were angry with Defy but Defy is no longer an issue for the last 4 years. If its Smosh because they got into those issues because of them, I find that slightly childish since Ian and Anthony also got hurt by that (Anthony leaving the company he founded and Ian having to take sole control). If its the people, how many people are still working there that are the originals they dealt with. Everyone from the Defy side is gone, and the only others would be the original cast members like Ian, Shayne, Courtney etc etc. If they are just embarrassed by the way they treated the situation, I feel like alot of people hate what happened in those years. I can only speculate but so far they've never really pinned down why they don't return or say why they left. But the reasons they do give, don't seem to be an issue anymore.
Sohinki and Lasercorn left before defy went bankrupt if I remember correctly. And at that point they and the others were just finishing out their obligations. And they were also for a little bit asked to come back and do videos when they no longer worked for smosh. Then there was an issue with not smosh but one of the producers pushing to completely change smosh games and stealing the ideas of the member and presenting it to the higher ups as his own. So defy and a specific person(I’m not gonna say his name if you get it you get it). This is from my memory so I could be incorrect. But I’m pretty sure they talked about it. If not here then when they had NE6 with Wes and flitz.

I also know they did talk about a producers being a horrible co-worker BUT I thought that producer left this year so I figured they would be up to coming back since Sohinki said that the only way he would come back is if a certain co-worker wasn't there anymore. Joven also mentioned the co-worker I am thinking of so I just assumed it was them so it confuses me that it feels like the way is clear for them to come back IF they wanted to. Either there is still more they haven't discussed or they just really don't want to come back.

Just because it seems fitting and I think they touched on board af being a joven idea and him taking it to the others and claiming it as his own. And I think that it was a few other producers too who were pushing for a whole lineup change and just using the smosh cast. So it’s not smosh I think it’s the people who work at smosh. And Wes saying that isn’t surprising but maybe because they had roles in different capacities so the experience might be different but from what I gathered it was the producers.
