LSD Preload is for neutral throttle condition, a higher setting will stabilise the car increasing understeer in this condition, a lower value will create more manoeuvrability oversteer in this condition. this before any acceleration or braking force is applied, I didn't agree with your explanation on that bit. just wanted to clarify this, thanks.
Hi Tony, we appreciate all the time you must have spent making this (and all) your video's. I'm making a new saved setup with these settings (I will call it "blame Tony" ) Thanks ;)
Subbed, randomly came across your channel and I have to say your content seems really good. You seem knowledgeable and your presentation is excellent. I'll be catching up on your videos in the coming weeks, thanks. Have fun racing!
Hey Tony! Amazing, I could learn so much stuff once again. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge mate. That's such a nice gesture!!! Very big thumb up from me... ^^
Hey Tony, Greetings from Tony, York UK. Great video for a freezing cold Sunday morning :) A great idea to go through a baseline setting. Have you planned to do this for other cars? Your favourites from other classes for example? Or even other GT3 cars? I lived in Germany for 3 years when I was stationed at RAF Laarbruch, loved it :)
Hey Tony ;) Thank you very much! It's 3°C around here but a friend just got their first snow for this season :D I will do that for other cars eventually, however for the next few weeks I will probably be concentrating on the Aston, as I have league races in it every week. Airforce High five! I've also been in service of the German Luftwaffe, however only for one year (compulsory service) ;)
+Tony's Racing yes we had a little snow yesterday, more is forecast. I did 16 years in the RAF before being medically discharged in 2007 after a brain tumour and permanently in a wheelchair now. I'm hooked on sim racing now, can only really use my right leg so have to have my own style but can still be competitive :) Moving over to the PC in a couple of weeks so hopefully be on the same grid sometime :)
Wow, so you beat a fucking cancer, that's awesome. Yes, looking forward to race you! And I'm pretty sure you'll figure out how to be fast although only using one leg. I mean, Alex Zanardi lost his legs and he was really fast in WTCC ;)
Hi Tony, Greetings from Tony, York UK. Yes, me again lol. As a fellow Aston driver I thought I'd ask if your having the same problems i'm having after patch 6.0, namely overheating front tyres. Doesn't matter whether I raise/lower pressures it's still the same, i've tried driving as smooth as I can, no change. I've played with springs and downforce, no change. I'm pretty frustrated, they've ruined my Aston :(
Hey Tony ;) It depends on the track to be honest. On some the fronts do overheat and you can't do anything. However with higher rear swar bars you get a nice balance into the car which prevents understeering by quite a bit. That helps with overheating fronts. Everything else is just driving line and driving slower unfortunately. I also think other cars, like the BMWs are profiting from the patch as they don't stress the tires as much.
Yes, it was made in hindsight of upcoming patches. The only thing to change right now would be to lower the tire pressures to something like 1.90 Bar or on some tracks even 1.80. However I'm sure in future patches the tires will get a little hotter again and this setup applies quite nicely to that :)

+Tony's Racing Thanks Tony I will play with the rear sway bar. Just got the Bentleys sorted now this. Damn those BMW's lol
I like your camera view, which one are you using? Tried to move the seat and view angles but still doesn't look the same as your!
I use the bonnet cam and move it away with free camera mode :)
Ctrl+K and then WASD/QE to move it!
+Tony's Racing Can you saved the view setting?
Cheung Danny
Unfortunately not. You need to set it every time you enter a session!
No more videos Tony how are you man

Does this base setup still work after patch 7.0?

ja ok
Ok :D
The V12 Vantage GT3 is so unbelievably crap, fucking shit as a fucking pile of shit. It is the worst handling car on the game.
