Funny, he states how well PNC Bank is doing and how well it's done over the years, yet under pays employees, or shorts them during raises or promoting them.
That's called capitalism. That's not a knock on whether or not his business is sound. I'm not a fan of corporations taking it out on employees first. You see it all the time. He is right about the core issue though. Bad management and bad decision making will come to light when the "base case" of someone's unsound scheme changes.
@@bradkenops5 Name the last bank CEO who said we're giving our front line raises because the economy is growing and that's what they're doing in Europe. It doesn't happen. Employee compensation & executive compensation are never really based on the economy, they're based on what the Board can get away with.
Pnc was great for me for about 15 years. Customer service was amazing. Always helpful. Never worried about fees or anything..... but all the sudden these fees start showing up, I call to talk with someone and I couldn't even understand them. It's just a fact. CS was outsourced. The fee was ridiculous. I decided it was time to go. Turns out, I'm not the only long time customer who had this perspective
It's funny he makes fun of failed banks CEOs for mismatches, since PNC book value declined 27% since December 2021 because of unrealized losses on securities (both AFS and HTM). He also went long on MBS and treasuries, just like most banks.
@@penguinsfan251 Yeah, and he was talking about earnings, probably. All banks are making more money because of higher rates. First Republic was also profitable, and it went bust. I was talking about balance sheet, not earnings.
This PNC CEO claims PNC to be the 5th largest in the United States? In the world 🌎 the number 1 in THE US or the World 🌎 in the year 2000? Did I hear him right? Customer crying about his bad customer service 😢
PNC CEO makes $20 million per year, of course this doesn’t concern him.
PNC bank is a bank that needs to fail. Worst customer service ever

Why is PNC closing so many branches?
That's what I want to know
It's funny how everyone before they fall scream : "WE HAVE NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! WE ARE SOLID!" ... LOL LOL LOL LOL

Well, he did say PNC is on its way to its best year ever, did he not?

It has a lot to do with the fact they got drunk and gambled with peoples stability... and the ultimate loss of trust
