thanks! i want to make a bigger structure at least once, maybe a castle or a wonder. BUT if i ever make a wonder ot might be Spanish one as i like it very much, and if i ever make one i need to either sell or donate it, i don’t have that much space at home and hate trashing what i do 😔
Age of empires 2 was my childhood, one of the first games I ever played. Well, my wife is getting into scratch building and model making so when I saw AoE2 I just had to check it out, and wow! We've been working our way through your other videos. Your flocking video is fuckin amazing, my wife's been looking for a good, cheap technique and yours is it. She found your tree technique equally good. Using the poly and gently massaging paint is smart. Give me all of the AoE2 stuff... I suppose if i had to ask for a specific thing... the early town centers would be super cool. I love the disheveled, makeshift look of them.
Hey! thanks for your support and glad to hear these videos are useful for you. I most likely will not stop AoE theme creations but due to work taking alot of my time i need to choose smaller stuff. i might make a blacksmith or barracks building next when i get back to the medieval theme again. But my long term plans have at least one castle, if not a big castle a Krepost would satisfy me😉
Only just discovered this channel as i was strolling through youtube for tutorials on medieval diorama making (i want to get into this hobby and was thinking of making a house or something alike for my first try). might i ask what thickness of styrofoam you are using and for the cartboard? Your builds are awesome by the way :D
Hi! Better late than never to join! 😉 And thanks for your support over Patreon! I usually buy 1cm thick styrofoam and thin it down to half in thickness when i make the bricks. As for the cardboard its always 1mm thick, easier to cut and cheaper. And for the bases i use 50mm thick foamcore, provide extra sturdiness with scrap plywood board cuts.
Nice job, well done mate, I take it that you are using Super Glue, did you have a problem when painting over as I always seem to get spots that I cannot cover.
yeah, if superglue clogs up a surface paint doesnt cover it as good as it does with other spots. i always paint over multiple coats and i get rid of those superglue affected spots. worst case if i can’t i cover up those spots with foliage or weathering powders and such to cover up the crime 😉 😏
I hope you guys loved the 4th Age of Empires video. Let me know if you want to see me build more buildings or even vehicles (maybe) from the game!
Very col build and with a little modification , a post apocalyptic ranch , top marks and thanks..
Amazing! I especially like all these tiny cute details ☺️

Beautiful work. If you ever get around to building a Wonder, be careful. It’ll start a victory countdown!
