Hello Khanya. I use nylon fishing twine. It doesn't snap unless you subject it to a lot of tension, it's easy to untangle when knots are formed. Sewing thread can snap easily, knots are difficult to untangle. If you have to use sewing thread maybe do so for small pieces such as earrings or small bracelets and probably for your own crafts, if you want to make for clients you need a stronger type of thread
