Bruh this figure is waaaay better than the original release. The original release’s head looks nothing like Chris Evans and the shield is super inaccurate. I do agree the darker color is better, but QC on the original release was awful and a bunch of them had loose joints
Thankfully its nothing a simple black wash cant fix, did one to mine and im loving this fig now

that alternate head was designed after that one scene where Cap tries to stop Thanos from snapping. His hair was somewhat out on the sides when he was doing that

The new pinless arms look like they have a better biceps swivel on them. I never liked the break in the sculpt of the first figure

I am still on the fence when it comes to this figure. I already have the first version and i need to open it to get the BAF part. Now i do like the new version, but just like you mentioned it is far from perfect. Also it is not a huge part of the movies, so i feel it is kind of a niche version of Cap, so in the end what shelf presence will it have. I would have preferred if they put effort into giving us a character that we didn't have already or a much needed update. I would have liked to see a new Thor 1 Thor, Avengers Loki or an Iron Man 2 Whiplash.
They should have made a first avenger captain America.
My Walmart put these out and they were 4.99 when I checked out. I went back and bought the rest for my friends.

Bro this is one of my most favorite marvel figures, how could u insult it like that?? It looks so good, I agree with the darker blue but this is way better than the last one, so stop complaining, and the head swapping doesn’t look good, his head looks too big on that body, that’s all in my opinion

Dude . . .the NEW CAP. He's taller, LOOKS better in every way when you have them each with their Wakandan Shields, next to each other, and there must be SOME new pieces aside from the arms if he's that much taller at the shoulders and chest. 🤷♂️

Also I have another set of shields got on ebay To basically have 2 collapsed shields and 2 extended shields So I can have a more accurate version of the shields that Steve had in Infinity war.
You know, I wish they re-produce Worthy Captain America as an “Infinity Saga” Edition.
yeah, they shouldve used the same darker blue like the old one, but the head is such an improvements

nice looking figure, but repaints & reissues are now out of the game for me. just found the AOA & only picked the best 3, Sabertooth, Legion & Iceman, just 3 for 75!! I turned around & returned the others..

Damn talk about picking nits. Guess they should've just repainted the og body bright yellow and orange to get on your good side.

I disagree. That old one was total garbage. It might be one of the worst head sculpts of all time. This new one is far superior in every way shape and form. Ok, the suit might be a tad brighter than the original figure. I'll take the new one every day and twice on Sunday over the nightmare first one. God that head sculpt is frightening lol. Not to mention the fact he only came with one shield and it was oversized. It was like Hasbro never saw the movie or seen a picture of Chris Evans lol.

Well, now I'm having mixed feelings on the figure so far, i don't mind the blue he has, the headsculpts are ok as indeed the calm face looks like Chris Evans and somehow the grinding teeth face somehow makes me wanna call it the "angry Keanu Reeves" faces for me anyway lol, but i agree the arm parts of his suit lack texture and those shields i never really was a fan of them being honest.
Still am unsure if it's a pass for me or a buy in my case, kinda torn because i like his bearded look somehow and i would make my own mix of this look alongside his iconic shield, yes not accurate but it would be for my collection personally.
I like it because I have no money for a Mafex of $200+txs 😂

I love Cap, but this new one was VERY DISAPPOINTING for me, you are completely right, the new arms are nice but way too big for the old body!!!! I also do like the new head sculp and yes, the angry face one is weird too!! Damn! Really wanted to like this one, I also ended up using the new head on a comic book cap body, which is nice, tall and muscular

Look at how long his arms are! This figure is a turd. I don't understand why so many people still continue to support hasbro on their marvel legends. I stopped buying marvel legends all together. Why? Cause they aren't worth the price. They're either reused or a new mold that is just down right horrible. They're charing $25 $26 for a reissue figure with different head sculpt and another shield. Sorry but hasbro sucks. Glad I'm only collecting neca figures. Atleast They're worth the price and you get a better figure for your $$
