    Thanks for all the good information. I just ordered some hand warmers that you suggested. It is a little too warm for them now, but I am looking forward to next winter. Planning ahead.

    Great advice, thanks! I got some battery adapters/converters to convert AAA to AA, and C to D, batteries after I heard from a gentleman in Puerto Rico how much help they were to have when most batteries were in very short supply after Hurricane Maria.

    Good info! I’ve had that disappointment of leaving batteries in flashlights and many cases destroyed the light and had to toss it

    My experience, Duracell are NOT what they used to be and are most likely to leak. Lost a few flashlights to them. They will leak, and the light will still be having battery power! Energizer, or even the cheap Dollar General store brand don't do that. After losing about $60 in flashlights specifically mag lights, I don't buy them anymore. Love power banks (prefer Anker as they are tough) for keeping phone going. Make sure got a good charging cord.
