Laughtale is inside reverse mountain. Reverse mountain is an artificial knock up stream that will send the Strawhats to the moon. Roger was to early because Poseidon was not born yet, we know that Shirahoshi can command the Neptunians but fishman are also well known for being able to control water currents. And what is the Grand line but a water current that points at Reverse Mountain. Also Oda likes to hide things in his movies and Stampede has an island that gets knocked up in the sky by a knock up stream. A sky island would have been found by Kaido so i think it's safe to rule that out. I think that this has been foreshadowed with Gaimon's island. Gaimon's treasure was on top of a mountain. That treasure was already found. Reverse Mountain also has an X when seen from the map and in a pirate manga what is better then to have a location where X marks the spot for the treasure.
I think it's just one top of Reverse Mountain most crews unless they know that Laugh Tale is there isn't randomly going to try to anker thier boat in the middle of Reverse Mountain just look around for their ship to get ripped apart by the currents and everyone to die. Only top tear crews and ships like Luffy, Roger or Shanks could even try do this successfully.
I made this theory back in 2014 in Orojackson forums, I still do think Raftel is inside the Reverse Mountain, and its entrance is in the Calm Belt...also, when the Strawhats "exit" Raftel, it will be through the middle which again, like how they entered the New World...is like being symbolized by whales (them coming out of the middle of the Reverse Mountain, is like coming out of a whale's blowhole)
@@boredbeck I suspect that the entrance works the same way as with Fishman island. Reverse mountain is a winter island so should have a downward current, combine this with Franky who can coat ships and Jimbei that can steer ships underwater and the Strawhats are all set.
A floating island could just forever keep on a floating up even if the world did Flood right... so then I started thinking, I remember when the straw hats met Dorry and Broggy, and at the end of that Arc Dorry and Broggy helped the straw hats leave the island by killing the giand island eating goldfish... but right before they did that the Giants told them that there are Islands out there made of giant fish poops and that the straw hats should go and visit it one day cause its an amazing site to see... also the cool thing about this theory is that the island would never stay in one place it would follow the ocean currents around the world, so it would always be moving and never staying in one place...sounds like a good reason for Oda to create a good navigator like Nami who knows how to read the oceans currents... the problem is no one seems to remember this conversation when I bring it up, but it definitely did happen... so if Joy boy found a way to hide the One Piece on a giant fish poop island, I would think that's a pretty good reason to call it laughtale
Laugh tale is at the center of Long Ring Long Land. Joyboy stretched the land using his awakening to maintain it always above water. And once a year at Aqua Laguna, the center of the island is accessible WHILE being protected from outside by the ring being complete. So you have to wait at the center of this boring plain island for the most dangerous event of the year to enter. And the weird animals may explain the laugh in Laugh Tale
We are thinking with conventional logic. Laugh Tale could be something like an island in the past, or an island accessed by dreaming. The red poneglyphs pointed to 4 different islands, but them pointing to 1 island illustration by Inuarashi could be a red herring. It could be a mechanism more convoluted than simply drawing 4 lines.
I've heard the Theory that Laugh Tale is located on top of Reverse Mountain, I really like it because it matches old sea maps of the north pole and Reverse Mountain is the magmatic pole of the One Piece world. In these maps it shows a group of rivers that look like the currents flowing around Reverse Mountain with an island in the center. I doubt water ways of Reverse Mountain been accurately mapped because of how chaotic the water ways are with thrashing boats around. it's not like you can just set anker any where and climb up one of the cliffs and see what's on the other side. Also it would be ironically funny that every pirates crew who enters the Grandline looking for the One Piece literally passes it by on the way there. I feel like only a top tear god level Crew would have the experience and power to navigate Reverse Mountain properly with intent and reach the One Piece.
Regarding whether Joy Boy would have been uncertain if the 20 Kingdoms would continue to use their ancient weapons: I think it's safe to assume he would have known the truth of how exactly they are powered, and so it's possible he might have known that, because of some particular thing that happened, they would be unable to power the non-sentient two in the future (with Poseidon being a living being, he might have trusted that they would never side with the WG/20K). This would be especially true if he was necessary somehow for the power source (e.g. if it's related to Nika or something). He would have been correct too, given that the weapons were unused for so long. It took a unique genius like Vegapunk to produce even an inferior, limited version of the power source, and it took so long for this to happen that Joy Boy's reincarnation had shown up by that point. A possible hiding spot for the One Piece could relate to Enel's eventual re-inclusion in the story, if you know what I mean. But there's no evidence of Roger going to the moon lol, I think.. About the Roger scene not looking like an underwater scene: knowing the crazy locations in OP, it could easily be a location that requires underwater travel, but then they travel through some kind of opening in a cave or something and emerge in a location with oxygen and no water, a secluded spot that looks no different to a location above the water.
Super tangential but fun fact Laputa Castle in the Sky is actually based on Laputa from the novel Gulliver’s travels. Laputa is a sky island, Lilliput is a kingdom of tiny people (like the Tontatta), Brobdingnag is a kingdom of giants… heck Gulliver even winds up in Japan briefly. My personal theory is that Noland is based on Gulliver (hence the Skypiea connection as well as his appearance in Green bit) and it’s for that reason I strongly believe we’ll get another Noland reference in Elbaf

To expand on your thoughts, If one considers Binks Sake, the Story of Joy Boys crew delivering binks‘ Sake to Laugh Tale (the First line of the song) it seems as if they went to hide the one piece after joy boy failed. Also brook stating that the song was sang by ancient Pirates in „times of sorrow“ indicating the same. So you probably deducted correctly that Laugh Tale was chosen after the sea levels rose, towards the end of the war.
Shandorians were friends with Joyboy, but they lived on land during his time. Joy boys friends could have knocked out all this as a contingency plan after JoyBoy died. They all probably knew where Laughtale was so they choose four points that you could use to find the cross section. the Rio poneglyph was probably made first when JoyBoy was alive and instructions after he died were used for the final ones. But it isn't unheard of to have your friends oversee the final steps when your no longer there. Just a thought. My biggest question is was the grand line all one continent. Like you need log post to sync with the island and then you can travel from one to the next. Is this new tech or not. If all the islands have diff magnetic fields then they were never connected? Then the new world brings in way more questions on the magnetic fields being even crazier. I bet it is from the war thAt these islands are all messed up. Not sure how. 😊
I was thinking sky islands are the answer too. They don't have a magnetic signature. More to add, I think it's setup as a "ship" similar to Thriller Bark, a giant sanctuary. There's likely also a cloud island generator stored somewhere, which if it were building a bridge of clouds to meet the blue sea, would explain the time limit. its still building the bridge!
Deep sea currents. There were 3 people at big moms tea party who were supposed big players in the underworld. Warehouse kingpin, drug pelco, and shipping king Umit. Last chapter finally brings back Umit. They know alternate routes through the sea, this is also probably why Shanks can seemingly pop up anywhere because through Roger he knew how to navigate them. I always thought it was at the bottom of the pit at Enis Lobby but the Reverse Mountain theory also works, both these places would be inaccessible through traditional means.

luffys dream is to make the water level equal to the clouds and make that the new landscape, which is why its so much highlighted vegapunk and the cloud creation, one piece is a cloud machine. Imu will sunk the world and luffy will help people have new start in the clouds
Long ring long land holds some foreshadowing I'm sure. Place seems to have been visited by a nika user since everything is so long and when the water levels lower the inhabitants can pass freely across the continent
the fishman island was shown to be super hard to get into. dangerious to go outside the intended route most places that are special has these elements to it.
What if Laughtale is actually invisible on a floating island like Water 7. Vegapunk made holograms which was technology that he replicated from the past and something we may be seeing at Elbaf. So what if there is ancient tech on Laughtale that hides the island. It would also explain how the Roger Pirates learned the truth, they watched "videos" that were left behind with the One Piece. A record of what happened so that whoever found the One Piece would have the ability to choose a future that wont repeat itself. It would also explain why you need the poneglyphs, you literally couldn't find it otherwise. Also, as an invisible floating island, Joyboy could hide it from Uranus which can fly

I mean, aqua laguna is a thing, so it already sets the precedent for sea levels lowering. Joy Boy also shown the capability to go underwater, as he knew Poseidon. I think its just on an island that you can detect on a logpose, unless it's an eternal one. Also, the government probably didn't realize the One Piece existed/wasn't destroyed until Rodger found it. Or, weren't worried, because nobody could read the poneglyphs. Also, the Road Poneglyphs were all in places the government couldn't go to. Zunesha, the missing one in Fish man Island, Whole Cake Island and Wano. Its not like they could find it themselves.
I think it is more likely that the one piece is underwater somewhere. I think that the assumption is that once you get road poneglyphs you grab a map plot the points and X marks the spot. What if you need to take elevation into account, when you plot out the points on a globe you connect them with a strait line that goes through the ocean and earth not just following the surface of the globe. This would mean that the location would most definitely be underwater or underground because of the curvature of the globe.
In Zou when Nami was talking to cat viper following the log pose will take you to Laughtale.. Roger made it but he had to turn back around because he had yet to learn
There is something strange about Laughtale , Imu should know where it is 1 - Imu knows and cant do anything about that , in this case it is at the center of the 3 Gates of Justice 2 - Imu knows and cant do anything about it and is the farthes away possible , Reverse Mountain 3 - Laughtale moves and cant be traced , in this case maybe the bridge is a magic draw to find it 4 - Calm Belt is probably the safest place for Laughtale but we know almost nothing about it 5 - Maybe what Roger found was Laughtale , he found something else like another ponegliph , in this case Laughtale will appear on its own for some reason and they were to soon because of that 6 - Cant think of anything else , true that oda likes to play with reverses , but we dont know if its the reverse of the end of grand line or the reverse of Imu position Now im gonna watch the video :)
The two biggest points about this are Joyboy’s motivation to hide the One Piece and Imu’s motivation in flooding the planet. Vegapunk said the war has been ongoing, as if Imu has been fighting since Joyboy’s failure. Why is that? When, to Imu, does the war end? What still exists that Imu is still fighting? It doesn’t seem like Imu is trying to get the poneglyphs, but is trying to silence those looking for them. Maybe Imu is trying to find or destroy the One Piece by flooding the world. When I try to think of a good alternative to the sky, I can’t really think of any. But there are so many powers at work in this world and even with the discovery of the ancient kingdom being so advanced, it’s possible it could be anywhere. It might even be in a simulated world. Maybe it’s hidden in the Florian Triangle and those shadows are the guardians of it.
One thing to consider as well is the fact that all 4 poneglyphs are needed to find Laugh Tale. It's perfectly possible to find it with only three, right? The necessity of a fourth one more than likely indicates a change in elevation! I like your theory!
Three points are not enough unless you make extra assumptions. You're probably thinking about all the points being on a circle, or their intersections being perpendicular, etc, but none of these things was ever stated.
@@agdevoq I was thinking more like a triangle, actually. The way One Piece shows us how to use the 4 poneglyphs (as the edge points of an X) makes it possible to use only 3 to make a triangle. Then, no matter where the fourth one goes, the intersection of the X would be a point on one of the sides of the triangle.
On the Urouge bit, I always assumed he was from Birka, and he and his monks had been exiled either before or during Enel's destruction of the island. I lean towards thinking he was a monk of the former God of Birka.
It can't be on a sky island. Don't forget there is a Gorosei who can fly higher than Skypiea. Laugh Tale in inside an Island Whale that sleeps under Reverse Mountain. It was foreshadowed on twin capes with Crocus and Laboon. Before reaching reverse mountain, Nami told SH there is a current that goes under the mountain and if they catch that current, their story ends. Oda literally told us there is the end of their journey, where X marks the treasure location.
The water _level_ rose when the Red Line landed/came down from the geostationary position it previously held between the OP world and the moon. I believe the Red Line once encircled the OP globe, like a habitable version of Saturn's rings. The absolute vaporisation of the Red Line is the eventual outcome of the whole story imo, either as a result of the OP being found, or necessary to reveal the island from beneath the waves, finally returning the world to its unadulterated state.
Something that I want to fit somewhere into all of this is the fact that there are "sea slopes" (as seen post Punk Hazard on the way to Dressrosa). That is probably the weirdest nature related thing in the entirety of One Piece! Even if the surface below are uneven or whatever lies there the surface of the sea should always be flat, but no.
I don’t know what the One Piece is, but I believe it’s inside a time capsule with an electronic lock from the ancient kingdom. That’s why Roger laughed and said he was too early. There were over 20 years on the timer still. I think the final arc will be an all out war between all factions while the timer ticks down the last few hours
what would be a big joke - maybe even worthy of the name of "Laugh Tale": if the One Piece is hidden on the Red Line - maybe even inside (or close to) Mary Joa - and nobody knows ist.
Imo it's more likely that lodestar island is in the clouds because you need 4 poneglyphs to find it. I get that x marks the spot is a cool symbol, but you can find latitude and longitude coordinates with only 3 points, the 4th poneglyph may point upwards (or down). My favourite guesses for Laugh Tale are long ring long land, Marejoise itself making it right under their noses which may be part of the joke of laugh tale and a unified place for multiple battles in the celestial city, fishman island, and sabaody simultaneously and the prophesised destruction of fishman island, or between the gates of justice under complete control by the world government but they are unable to use or destroy it

we have an elephant with a city on his back so why not a giant bird with a city on its back? maybe that's where laughtale is. maybe the coordinates from the road poneglyphs leads to some kind of beacon that summons the bird to that location and then people can board it.
A strange thing I’ve been wondering lately, probably irrelevant but… if the new world is mostly undiscovered except by Roger and his crew, is there a certain point that the pirates like the yonkou have been limited to? Is it before you get to lode star or are there a bunch of islands that are particularly difficult to get to? Surely the yonkou would have ventured as far as at least lode star?
I also think it's in corelation to reverse mountain. When the Strawhats circumnavigate the world I think they'll run into it. I don't think it's a sky island, I think it's below. The first thing we saw when the strawhats left reverse mountain was Crocus in the belly of a whale. It was painted like an island. I think that's the last thing the strawhats will see, an island inside of a whale. (this one will be real.) It's the other side of the coin. It's the last place they'll go and it will be laughtale. There's a large X there (reverse mountain), so I think it's under the X. I again think it's going to be beneath reverse mountain. That's because of Long ring long land. I think Oda was explaining the route to Laughtale there, and how it's made for Joyboy. Hence the awakening that affected Long ring. I think people automatically thought that was the location, but no that's the idea. It's also a crown and it's going to reveal what the world looks like when it's not flooded. The Onepiece will create Pangea when it turns the world aright and the false gods will be removed. Another reason I think it's a whale that the strawhats will enter is because of Brooke and Laboon. Also in the longring long land arc there was Foxy and luffy outsmarted him like he did Enel and like he'll do with Imu. Also Luffy called Foxy two piece because of his hair. Then we saw luffy with the afro. I don't think the onepiece is an afro, I think the idea of the afro is luffy's awakening, gear 5. Roger was too early not only because of Shirahoshi not being born. That was only one part of it. He was too early because the Nika fruit wasn't found yet. (I'm not 100 percent on this part but I think what we saw with Enel and the Arc Maximum will also be Luffy and the onepiece) Binks Saki will be a part of finding the onepiece, also we saw all the whales react when they sang it and they helped out the strawhats. THey recognize that song and I think the whale with the crown, in one of the coverstories is the whale that swallowed laughtale. Prob also Joyboy's nakama. Lastly, Luffy's dream is more than just pirate king. Why does he want to become king of the pirates? Why did he want a cook and a musician in the early days and Zoro yelled at him? It's because luffy want's to throw a party for the entire world. (His dream is prob he wants everyone to be free to party) Why else would you have a cook and musician? It's party related and I'll just throw in my final thoughts on the actual onepiece. Yes, I think it's def a funny story...but I think the actual onepiece is either a drum, or something that is powered by drums. It's the don. will of D. The don of the drums in Binks Saki. The drums will rally the ancient weapons and call them to battle. Now what this will look like, I'm not 100%. Either a warship with drums, maybe the actual whale, the last of Joyboy's nakama being the warship. But I think Joyboy had the whale swallow his treasure and now it waits for the new Joyboy to come and use it to defeat the W.G. That's alot I wrote, from what I've gathered from the story, I think that's it...also we know Oda loves to use the bible and I think the story of Jonah is where he got his inspiration....This is my thoughts, I don't know. It could def be the moon or a sky island. I guess we'll wait and see.
Lastly and I'll be done with my book here. When Roger died he said I left my treasure in that place. I think he was being very literal, I think Roger could see where he left his treasure, not some far off place, but prob beneath logue town which is a joined island that runs beneath the red line. They were in Prologue so to speak and the treasure is under epilogue, so to speak, under the other side of the island that extends to the other side.
With that thought what if it is a teleporter to the Moon? Making Enel relevant again. Or the egg that was on Rodger ship patched into a giant dragon that is currently housing the one piece on its back flying around the sky too high for anybody to really notice and the lair is the location
Imagine if Uranus is the moon and Enel was the one to use it (akin to shirahoshi as a fish person), but needs joyboys flame to make it work in its full capacity. It’s called the mother flame and we know mothers are the antonym of adventure!
I will point out we haven't had a Journey to the Center of the Earth/Hallow Earth Arc yet in. For a Series about exploring and adventure, we did the moon, we did the sky, we did the future, we did the Lost World. But no Hallow world with in the earth? Although Elbaf might take us underground, there are stores of Giants common from the sky but there are also stories of Giants common form the earth.
4:14 "How did he have the confidence..? Two more potential ideas, JB or someone on his crew had a more advanced version of Shyarly's ability, and could see the events 800+ years in the future. And/or, the one piece is a piece of the og mother flame, so stashing it away prevented more flooding (til Vegapunk came along).
The One Piece has yet to arrive in the present days. It was sent into the future with the Toki Toki no mi. What better way to protect it? Then, the location where it will appear was written on the Poneglyffs. Roger was LITERALLY too early when he got to Laugh Tale!

do you think its possible that the advance scientific kingdom possibly managed to do something akin to what we saw in a filler arc when there was that fat marine guy Nelson Royale chasing the crew but there was no visable island it was almost cloaked as if it had the invisible fruit protecting it. but this could be a scientific breakthrough as they are rumoured to be much more advanced.
Is the sky theory maybe why Shanks wanted Marco to join his crew? Shanks and Gol D. Roger didn't have DF users on their crews, so it makes sense if Gol D. Roger "got there too early." because it's in the sky and there is no other way to get to it other than to fly.
If we are treating the road ponyglyphs such as coordinates to make an "X" then you wouldn't need all 4. It might take a bit longer to find, but you could do it with just 3 since in an "X" you would just have to travel the distance between the end points. You wouldn't know if one was the cross point or not so you would have to travel between them all, but you COULD do it with just 3 of them in that way. If they it was a sky island then it would seem that the road ponyglyphs would have indicated that they were talking about something in the sky. Because of the simplicity of using it as an "X" I feel that there might be more of a story told with them that you need all the details to find the One Piece and not just physical coordinates on the map. More like a treasure hunt in story form that without all the story you won't know where to start looking. This might also be why we haven't heard ANY of what is said on the Road Ponyglyphs so far as that would start to give away their full purpose AND we already have 3.
Yes that’s what Cat viper was telling nami in zou.. but that’s what Roger did but when he made it he had to do everything all over!! He said that if you follow the log pose it will take you to Laughtale I think that’s what I got out of it!

Hey Joy Girl, what if the One Piece is UP. As in, in space, and that is why Reverse Mountain has reverse gravity, and maybe they didnt have the technology to get back up to it when Rodger found it. It could still be at the center of the X, if it was off world. And we have all those images of the space pirates, right?
If most of the world previously were continents instead of islands, then the question shouldn't fully be "how did they sink?", instead "where did all the water come from to cover the land?" An Island might be able to sink, but massive continents aren't just going to "sink" below the water. You'd need a vast amount of water added to the system to cover the land in such a way because they aren't simply "floating" on the water, they are connected to the planet below them.
and not only that. the (additional) water has also to stay in place. a huge Tsunami flooding the land masses and wiping out entire civilisations would be bad enough. but the water didn´t retreat but is still on top of the land.
One piece is inside a black hole! That is why Blackbeard needed the Yami-Yami no mi, so he can safely access the black hole. Also, Zoro has been defeating all the potential black holes throughout the series. Obviously he doesn't know why, but he has that guts feeling to do want has to be done.

I believe it’s in the sky. We’ve learned from Skypeia that they move. Would explain why you need 4 poneglyths to find the general location. If the world was sinking and those in the void century knew it why would it be underwater or on the water? Just my opinion.
Oda doesn't want us to know because he hasn't even revealed any info about the existing markers. The Straw Hats (at least Robin) already know three points of the X which marks the One Piece.
you know the only thing that bothers me the whole time with the red porneglyphs ... one is on zunesha, he moves constantly, therefor the position of the crossing changes constantly. how will this fit in ?
Oda has depicted many characters early blacked out to hide their identity. He continues to draw Imu this way. Same case for Roger pirates on laughtale. He doesn’t want us to know yet. Therefore he just didn’t draw the details

I like the reverse Mountain Theory I'm going to change it up a little they point to reverse Mountain inside is a hidden Laboratory or another stone or something that reveals the true location of the one piece which is past the Moon somewhere in space there might even be a clue to it on the moon

Idk if Imu is slowly sinking the world why keep building the bridges that would save people? Seems more likely they're like roads for transporting goods or something. Binks Sake seems to imply Laugh Tale is under the waves of the ocean, and at least to me it seems more likely the axis of their planet was tilted. I mean look at earth it is not a perfect sphere, centrifugal force pushes out the water in the middle as the planet spins. So if you tilted the One Piece worlds axis, you could get the red line to line up with the equator, and likely sink the entire red line while exposing more land in the poles.
Pointing to the moon isn't that hard, as it has a predictable orbit. So if your instructions are to be at specific coordinates at certain times of the month/year, that could still be a viable theory.

It's on the moon. What controls the tides? The moon, what would restore the 'one piece' of the world and create the all-blue? The moon *Laugh Tale itself likely being inside reverse mountain as a method to knockup to the moon as to your point on 'aiming' at the moon, I doubt you'd have to aim, just be there at the right place and right time. This would thematically be an 'eclipse' of sorts
Lode star also has a good chance to be the moon. The name fits, it's also the final island in grand line, nobody gets there, and if you get there, your log pose will just spin endlessly, it could mean that when you're in the moon the log pose caught all the earths island magnetism.
One piece location is in Marijoa simple..Doflamingo already told us they hide something that would shake the world..imu already acquired the one piece but cant use it..luffy will get to laughtale but nothing is there..
Laughtale is inside reverse mountain. Reverse mountain is an artificial knock up stream that will send the Strawhats to the moon. Roger was to early because Poseidon was not born yet, we know that Shirahoshi can command the Neptunians but fishman are also well known for being able to control water currents. And what is the Grand line but a water current that points at Reverse Mountain. Also Oda likes to hide things in his movies and Stampede has an island that gets knocked up in the sky by a knock up stream. A sky island would have been found by Kaido so i think it's safe to rule that out. I think that this has been foreshadowed with Gaimon's island. Gaimon's treasure was on top of a mountain. That treasure was already found. Reverse Mountain also has an X when seen from the map and in a pirate manga what is better then to have a location where X marks the spot for the treasure.
I think it's just one top of Reverse Mountain most crews unless they know that Laugh Tale is there isn't randomly going to try to anker thier boat in the middle of Reverse Mountain just look around for their ship to get ripped apart by the currents and everyone to die. Only top tear crews and ships like Luffy, Roger or Shanks could even try do this successfully.

I made this theory back in 2014 in Orojackson forums, I still do think Raftel is inside the Reverse Mountain, and its entrance is in the Calm Belt...also, when the Strawhats "exit" Raftel, it will be through the middle which again, like how they entered the New World...is like being symbolized by whales (them coming out of the middle of the Reverse Mountain, is like coming out of a whale's blowhole)

A floating island could just forever keep on a floating up even if the world did Flood right... so then I started thinking, I remember when the straw hats met Dorry and Broggy, and at the end of that Arc Dorry and Broggy helped the straw hats leave the island by killing the giand island eating goldfish... but right before they did that the Giants told them that there are Islands out there made of giant fish poops and that the straw hats should go and visit it one day cause its an amazing site to see... also the cool thing about this theory is that the island would never stay in one place it would follow the ocean currents around the world, so it would always be moving and never staying in one place...sounds like a good reason for Oda to create a good navigator like Nami who knows how to read the oceans currents... the problem is no one seems to remember this conversation when I bring it up, but it definitely did happen... so if Joy boy found a way to hide the One Piece on a giant fish poop island, I would think that's a pretty good reason to call it laughtale
Laugh tale is at the center of Long Ring Long Land. Joyboy stretched the land using his awakening to maintain it always above water. And once a year at Aqua Laguna, the center of the island is accessible WHILE being protected from outside by the ring being complete. So you have to wait at the center of this boring plain island for the most dangerous event of the year to enter. And the weird animals may explain the laugh in Laugh Tale
We are thinking with conventional logic. Laugh Tale could be something like an island in the past, or an island accessed by dreaming. The red poneglyphs pointed to 4 different islands, but them pointing to 1 island illustration by Inuarashi could be a red herring. It could be a mechanism more convoluted than simply drawing 4 lines.
I've heard the Theory that Laugh Tale is located on top of Reverse Mountain, I really like it because it matches old sea maps of the north pole and Reverse Mountain is the magmatic pole of the One Piece world. In these maps it shows a group of rivers that look like the currents flowing around Reverse Mountain with an island in the center. I doubt water ways of Reverse Mountain been accurately mapped because of how chaotic the water ways are with thrashing boats around. it's not like you can just set anker any where and climb up one of the cliffs and see what's on the other side. Also it would be ironically funny that every pirates crew who enters the Grandline looking for the One Piece literally passes it by on the way there. I feel like only a top tear god level Crew would have the experience and power to navigate Reverse Mountain properly with intent and reach the One Piece.

Regarding whether Joy Boy would have been uncertain if the 20 Kingdoms would continue to use their ancient weapons: I think it's safe to assume he would have known the truth of how exactly they are powered, and so it's possible he might have known that, because of some particular thing that happened, they would be unable to power the non-sentient two in the future (with Poseidon being a living being, he might have trusted that they would never side with the WG/20K). This would be especially true if he was necessary somehow for the power source (e.g. if it's related to Nika or something).
He would have been correct too, given that the weapons were unused for so long. It took a unique genius like Vegapunk to produce even an inferior, limited version of the power source, and it took so long for this to happen that Joy Boy's reincarnation had shown up by that point.
A possible hiding spot for the One Piece could relate to Enel's eventual re-inclusion in the story, if you know what I mean. But there's no evidence of Roger going to the moon lol, I think..
About the Roger scene not looking like an underwater scene: knowing the crazy locations in OP, it could easily be a location that requires underwater travel, but then they travel through some kind of opening in a cave or something and emerge in a location with oxygen and no water, a secluded spot that looks no different to a location above the water.

Super tangential but fun fact Laputa Castle in the Sky is actually based on Laputa from the novel Gulliver’s travels. Laputa is a sky island, Lilliput is a kingdom of tiny people (like the Tontatta), Brobdingnag is a kingdom of giants… heck Gulliver even winds up in Japan briefly. My personal theory is that Noland is based on Gulliver (hence the Skypiea connection as well as his appearance in Green bit) and it’s for that reason I strongly believe we’ll get another Noland reference in Elbaf

To expand on your thoughts, If one considers Binks Sake, the Story of Joy Boys crew delivering binks‘ Sake to Laugh Tale (the First line of the song) it seems as if they went to hide the one piece after joy boy failed. Also brook stating that the song was sang by ancient Pirates in „times of sorrow“ indicating the same. So you probably deducted correctly that Laugh Tale was chosen after the sea levels rose, towards the end of the war.
Shandorians were friends with Joyboy, but they lived on land during his time. Joy boys friends could have knocked out all this as a contingency plan after JoyBoy died. They all probably knew where Laughtale was so they choose four points that you could use to find the cross section. the Rio poneglyph was probably made first when JoyBoy was alive and instructions after he died were used for the final ones. But it isn't unheard of to have your friends oversee the final steps when your no longer there. Just a thought.
My biggest question is was the grand line all one continent. Like you need log post to sync with the island and then you can travel from one to the next. Is this new tech or not. If all the islands have diff magnetic fields then they were never connected? Then the new world brings in way more questions on the magnetic fields being even crazier. I bet it is from the war thAt these islands are all messed up. Not sure how. 😊

More to add, I think it's setup as a "ship" similar to Thriller Bark, a giant sanctuary. There's likely also a cloud island generator stored somewhere, which if it were building a bridge of clouds to meet the blue sea, would explain the time limit. its still building the bridge!
Deep sea currents. There were 3 people at big moms tea party who were supposed big players in the underworld. Warehouse kingpin, drug pelco, and shipping king Umit. Last chapter finally brings back Umit. They know alternate routes through the sea, this is also probably why Shanks can seemingly pop up anywhere because through Roger he knew how to navigate them. I always thought it was at the bottom of the pit at Enis Lobby but the Reverse Mountain theory also works, both these places would be inaccessible through traditional means.

What if Laughtale is actually invisible on a floating island like Water 7. Vegapunk made holograms which was technology that he replicated from the past and something we may be seeing at Elbaf. So what if there is ancient tech on Laughtale that hides the island. It would also explain how the Roger Pirates learned the truth, they watched "videos" that were left behind with the One Piece. A record of what happened so that whoever found the One Piece would have the ability to choose a future that wont repeat itself. It would also explain why you need the poneglyphs, you literally couldn't find it otherwise. Also, as an invisible floating island, Joyboy could hide it from Uranus which can fly

I mean, aqua laguna is a thing, so it already sets the precedent for sea levels lowering. Joy Boy also shown the capability to go underwater, as he knew Poseidon. I think its just on an island that you can detect on a logpose, unless it's an eternal one.
Also, the government probably didn't realize the One Piece existed/wasn't destroyed until Rodger found it. Or, weren't worried, because nobody could read the poneglyphs. Also, the Road Poneglyphs were all in places the government couldn't go to. Zunesha, the missing one in Fish man Island, Whole Cake Island and Wano. Its not like they could find it themselves.
I think it is more likely that the one piece is underwater somewhere. I think that the assumption is that once you get road poneglyphs you grab a map plot the points and X marks the spot. What if you need to take elevation into account, when you plot out the points on a globe you connect them with a strait line that goes through the ocean and earth not just following the surface of the globe. This would mean that the location would most definitely be underwater or underground because of the curvature of the globe.
In Zou when Nami was talking to cat viper following the log pose will take you to Laughtale.. Roger made it but he had to turn back around because he had yet to learn

1 - Imu knows and cant do anything about that , in this case it is at the center of the 3 Gates of Justice
2 - Imu knows and cant do anything about it and is the farthes away possible , Reverse Mountain
3 - Laughtale moves and cant be traced , in this case maybe the bridge is a magic draw to find it
4 - Calm Belt is probably the safest place for Laughtale but we know almost nothing about it
5 - Maybe what Roger found was Laughtale , he found something else like another ponegliph , in this case Laughtale will appear on its own for some reason and they were to soon because of that
6 - Cant think of anything else , true that oda likes to play with reverses , but we dont know if its the reverse of the end of grand line or the reverse of Imu position

The two biggest points about this are Joyboy’s motivation to hide the One Piece and Imu’s motivation in flooding the planet. Vegapunk said the war has been ongoing, as if Imu has been fighting since Joyboy’s failure. Why is that? When, to Imu, does the war end? What still exists that Imu is still fighting? It doesn’t seem like Imu is trying to get the poneglyphs, but is trying to silence those looking for them. Maybe Imu is trying to find or destroy the One Piece by flooding the world.
When I try to think of a good alternative to the sky, I can’t really think of any. But there are so many powers at work in this world and even with the discovery of the ancient kingdom being so advanced, it’s possible it could be anywhere. It might even be in a simulated world. Maybe it’s hidden in the Florian Triangle and those shadows are the guardians of it.
One thing to consider as well is the fact that all 4 poneglyphs are needed to find Laugh Tale. It's perfectly possible to find it with only three, right? The necessity of a fourth one more than likely indicates a change in elevation! I like your theory!

Then, no matter where the fourth one goes, the intersection of the X would be a point on one of the sides of the triangle.

I believe the Red Line once encircled the OP globe, like a habitable version of Saturn's rings.
The absolute vaporisation of the Red Line is the eventual outcome of the whole story imo, either as a result of the OP being found, or necessary to reveal the island from beneath the waves, finally returning the world to its unadulterated state.
Something that I want to fit somewhere into all of this is the fact that there are "sea slopes" (as seen post Punk Hazard on the way to Dressrosa). That is probably the weirdest nature related thing in the entirety of One Piece! Even if the surface below are uneven or whatever lies there the surface of the sea should always be flat, but no.
I don’t know what the One Piece is, but I believe it’s inside a time capsule with an electronic lock from the ancient kingdom. That’s why Roger laughed and said he was too early. There were over 20 years on the timer still. I think the final arc will be an all out war between all factions while the timer ticks down the last few hours

Imo it's more likely that lodestar island is in the clouds because you need 4 poneglyphs to find it. I get that x marks the spot is a cool symbol, but you can find latitude and longitude coordinates with only 3 points, the 4th poneglyph may point upwards (or down).
My favourite guesses for Laugh Tale are long ring long land, Marejoise itself making it right under their noses which may be part of the joke of laugh tale and a unified place for multiple battles in the celestial city, fishman island, and sabaody simultaneously and the prophesised destruction of fishman island, or between the gates of justice under complete control by the world government but they are unable to use or destroy it

we have an elephant with a city on his back so why not a giant bird with a city on its back? maybe that's where laughtale is. maybe the coordinates from the road poneglyphs leads to some kind of beacon that summons the bird to that location and then people can board it.
Maybe when you want to find the one piece, you have to sail to the position and then sing bins sake. This will make the island emerge from the sea.

A strange thing I’ve been wondering lately, probably irrelevant but… if the new world is mostly undiscovered except by Roger and his crew, is there a certain point that the pirates like the yonkou have been limited to? Is it before you get to lode star or are there a bunch of islands that are particularly difficult to get to? Surely the yonkou would have ventured as far as at least lode star?
I also think it's in corelation to reverse mountain. When the Strawhats circumnavigate the world I think they'll run into it. I don't think it's a sky island, I think it's below. The first thing we saw when the strawhats left reverse mountain was Crocus in the belly of a whale. It was painted like an island.
I think that's the last thing the strawhats will see, an island inside of a whale. (this one will be real.) It's the other side of the coin. It's the last place they'll go and it will be laughtale.
There's a large X there (reverse mountain), so I think it's under the X. I again think it's going to be beneath reverse mountain. That's because of Long ring long land. I think Oda was explaining the route to Laughtale there, and how it's made for Joyboy. Hence the awakening that affected Long ring.
I think people automatically thought that was the location, but no that's the idea. It's also a crown and it's going to reveal what the world looks like when it's not flooded. The Onepiece will create Pangea when it turns the world aright and the false gods will be removed. Another reason I think it's a whale that the strawhats will enter is because of Brooke and Laboon. Also in the longring long land arc there was Foxy and luffy outsmarted him like he did Enel and like he'll do with Imu. Also Luffy called Foxy two piece because of his hair. Then we saw luffy with the afro. I don't think the onepiece is an afro, I think the idea of the afro is luffy's awakening, gear 5.
Roger was too early not only because of Shirahoshi not being born. That was only one part of it. He was too early because the Nika fruit wasn't found yet. (I'm not 100 percent on this part but I think what we saw with Enel and the Arc Maximum will also be Luffy and the onepiece)
Binks Saki will be a part of finding the onepiece, also we saw all the whales react when they sang it and they helped out the strawhats. THey recognize that song and I think the whale with the crown, in one of the coverstories is the whale that swallowed laughtale. Prob also Joyboy's nakama.
Lastly, Luffy's dream is more than just pirate king. Why does he want to become king of the pirates?
Why did he want a cook and a musician in the early days and Zoro yelled at him? It's because luffy want's to throw a party for the entire world. (His dream is prob he wants everyone to be free to party) Why else would you have a cook and musician? It's party related and I'll just throw in my final thoughts on the actual onepiece. Yes, I think it's def a funny story...but I think the actual onepiece is either a drum, or something that is powered by drums. It's the don. will of D. The don of the drums in Binks Saki.
The drums will rally the ancient weapons and call them to battle. Now what this will look like, I'm not 100%. Either a warship with drums, maybe the actual whale, the last of Joyboy's nakama being the warship. But I think Joyboy had the whale swallow his treasure and now it waits for the new Joyboy to come and use it to defeat the W.G.
That's alot I wrote, from what I've gathered from the story, I think that's it...also we know Oda loves to use the bible and I think the story of Jonah is where he got his inspiration....This is my thoughts, I don't know. It could def be the moon or a sky island. I guess we'll wait and see.
Lastly and I'll be done with my book here. When Roger died he said I left my treasure in that place. I think he was being very literal, I think Roger could see where he left his treasure, not some far off place, but prob beneath logue town which is a joined island that runs beneath the red line. They were in Prologue so to speak and the treasure is under epilogue, so to speak, under the other side of the island that extends to the other side.
With that thought what if it is a teleporter to the Moon? Making Enel relevant again. Or the egg that was on Rodger ship patched into a giant dragon that is currently housing the one piece on its back flying around the sky too high for anybody to really notice and the lair is the location

At least two of the red poneglyphs are already underwater, so I don't think that sea level really factors into it
I will point out we haven't had a Journey to the Center of the Earth/Hallow Earth Arc yet in. For a Series about exploring and adventure, we did the moon, we did the sky, we did the future, we did the Lost World. But no Hallow world with in the earth? Although Elbaf might take us underground, there are stores of Giants common from the sky but there are also stories of Giants common form the earth.
We haven't really done the moon yet. Just Enel in a cover story. Really hope we get to visit it with the main crew before the story ends though

If we are treating the road ponyglyphs such as coordinates to make an "X" then you wouldn't need all 4. It might take a bit longer to find, but you could do it with just 3 since in an "X" you would just have to travel the distance between the end points. You wouldn't know if one was the cross point or not so you would have to travel between them all, but you COULD do it with just 3 of them in that way.
If they it was a sky island then it would seem that the road ponyglyphs would have indicated that they were talking about something in the sky.
Because of the simplicity of using it as an "X" I feel that there might be more of a story told with them that you need all the details to find the One Piece and not just physical coordinates on the map. More like a treasure hunt in story form that without all the story you won't know where to start looking. This might also be why we haven't heard ANY of what is said on the Road Ponyglyphs so far as that would start to give away their full purpose AND we already have 3.

Hey Joy Girl, what if the One Piece is UP. As in, in space, and that is why Reverse Mountain has reverse gravity, and maybe they didnt have the technology to get back up to it when Rodger found it. It could still be at the center of the X, if it was off world. And we have all those images of the space pirates, right?
If most of the world previously were continents instead of islands, then the question shouldn't fully be "how did they sink?", instead "where did all the water come from to cover the land?"
An Island might be able to sink, but massive continents aren't just going to "sink" below the water. You'd need a vast amount of water added to the system to cover the land in such a way because they aren't simply "floating" on the water, they are connected to the planet below them.
and not only that. the (additional) water has also to stay in place. a huge Tsunami flooding the land masses and wiping out entire civilisations would be bad enough. but the water didn´t retreat but is still on top of the land.

Binks Sake seems to imply Laugh Tale is under the waves of the ocean, and at least to me it seems more likely the axis of their planet was tilted. I mean look at earth it is not a perfect sphere, centrifugal force pushes out the water in the middle as the planet spins. So if you tilted the One Piece worlds axis, you could get the red line to line up with the equator, and likely sink the entire red line while exposing more land in the poles.
