Id use the grass clippings to mulch those beds and keep the weeds down until such time as they can spend the time to care for them. Thanks for the video.

People that have gardens KNOW it is about 2 weeks of constant weeding to do around the house and then weekly upkeep. You are right, it does need to be cut down and totally redone! You are there to help, not to be someone's personal gardener

In another note for the daughter/caretaker: I was the caretaker for my late husband during his 8 years on dialysis, and I care and understand what you are BOTH going through. Dad is on a tough road and it takes a monumental will for continued treatment, and continued care is so hugely needed and difficult. I commend the both of you for doing whatever it takes to get through, 24 hours at a time, sometimes 1 hour at a time. I feel for you both tremendously, and I am praying for strength and wisdom for both of you. Take care of yourselves…. God bless and comfort both of you ❤

When you have garden beds that are so full of weeds and grasses, there isn't much you can do but cut it all back. Much of it will come back. Cutting it back is better if the homeowner has a hard time, (or simply can't), take care of those beds. I can tell you off hand the variegated leaf plants you see are commonly called snow on the mountain, (don't know botanical name), It is used as a ground cover or low growing border plant for the front of flower beds. Let those who don't like your clearing those beds volunteer to come keep them up.

No. I'm not concerned with what each plant is. I'm only concerned about what looks good and what looks bad...and fixing the bad. Having a nice plant in a bad spot doesn't do the nice plant justice, especially if there isn't other nice things around it.

❤ Hey BUDDY, yeah I AGREE, that whole thing NEEDS to be torn out of there and start from scratch, CUT in in a Brand NEW edge, and pretty much put whatever in the flower beds that they are wanting, But it's so tangled up like it is, there is NO real way to SAVE what is there now, I'm really Surprised they haven't had issues with the AC UNIT since ALL those weeds and other things were not letting that UNIT BREATHE, lucky it didn't Burn it UP, I would say that the ONLY thing in any of the flower beds that looked DECENT were those WHITE bunch of flowers in the corner that you didn't have to cut SO, was this your last part down, everything else was in pretty BAD shape. You have really got this project going in the right direction, your only doing what they want you to do, but I think they are going to need to end up taking some of that other stuff out like you were talking about before it will look right, But it's up to them, YOUR part is looking AWESOME 👍 so was this your last part at this house 🏠🏡 OR was there something else they wanted you to do farther back on the property?? Anywho, another good episode, turned out AWESOME, CYA SOON NEXT TIME BE SAFE 🚜🌞✌️🥵☀️😎

Absolutely Amazing job you did 💯👏! Looks so much better. People planting everything all together and never trimming or maintaining is the problem, this is what you get.
Way to much stuff planted together in my opinion and the plants don't do well it just looks horrible. If you don't cut back every season the perennial thing's they get to be sticks with just flower on the top, if you cut back the whole plant or bush it will look full and healthy every year in my experience. Hydrangeas were the plants with the balls on end they need cutting back every end of year.
You do what you think is best don't worry about people complaining otherwise you have a mess like this yard was .
