Heya Purge. I was curious if you'd consider doing the old-school replay commentaries perhaps once-per-week or per-month? Those videos really helped me get into Dota 2 many years ago, and I have two friends getting into the game, as well. I know there's plenty of other creators who will talk about game sense, and overall decision-making philosophy, though there is alot of value to be had in getting that experience for a full game start-to-finish. For a specific role, or a specific hero. Just saying if you ever decided to put that extra time in on a video, that there would be alot of people who would truly enjoy it.
For anyone who likes the artefact music you will probably like a song called the seikilos epitaph sung by Aeralie Brighton. It is also the oldest known song written down.
Hey Purge. For someone starting to play Underlord seriously, can you explain why you took Pit of Malice a little later? Also why Treads? If you went Abyssal Horde, would you have gotten Arcane Boots instead?
As an UL spammer I can tell you that it’s quite incorrect to delay getting pit for so long. Basically you make it almost worthless for pos 2 to help you gank since you have no disable. Pit should be gotten by level 4 at the latest.
tread into pipe is really odd..you never hit anyone more than once in any of the end-game team fights making treads (and the lack of mana/heal/dispel) worthless. you went doubloon instead of vindicator which is +35 attack speed (10 less than treads), 20% slow resistance and +20 armor on being stunned, which you and everyone else was, constantly. you could have greaves'd yourself out of a lot of situations and also healed your team, keeping them alive with the near-death save aura. 12 hp regen and 8 armor on less than 25% hp is not nothing. troll and razor carried tf out of this game.
@@GadBoDag he clears camps only slighter faster than firestorm. he accelerated into items he couldn’t use because he was dead every single fight except the end fight. it’s bad itemization at every choice, especially the neutral he never used
Also, picking up cleave but a still using firestorm for farming left him low on mana before every fight. A better strategy given the mobility offered by the ultimate is to somewhat conserve mana in preparation of ambush.
@@Hallucinarix To be fair, the patch was recent and quite dense. With so many heroes to choose from and different mechanics involved, it's very difficult to problem-solve on the fly.
@@jared4034 if he didnt have access to dotaplus and the overwhelming statistical likelihood of success it wouldnt bother me so much but he picks stuff at random to be oppositional to statistics for the sake of it and gets random results so often im frustrated watching these videos. i need to move to other creators. any decent understanding of underlord means you know all of those active items and abilities you have means mana into greaves is not a maybe choice, its critical. underlord has always been a castle (hit me instead of anyone else) and building as if youre a core-gone-offlane but then going back and picking half utility half pos5 support (doubloon) is bizarre. I suppose this feeling is rising with my increased MMR and im no longer at a position where im learning from them

The attack speed from treads there was so big, I didn't know it was that meaningful on any hero.
i think that windrunner was just waiting around to only go after you near the end, to the point she wasn't always helping her allies.

Utility underlord is GOOD, but skipping firestorm and rushing Mask of Madness is FUN

Treads is an early game acceleration item. Greaves costs a shitload of money. It's not as simple as picking one over the other.
