      Amazing! However, IMHO, it would be better if the bottom stretcher could stretch to the full width of the desk.

    I, like most others here, watch every single one of your videos. I may have enjoyed THIS one the most - not because this was one of your most complex pieces, either. I enjoyed how you started showing the imperfect, sometimes chaotic process. Multiple attempts to fit the base frame to the top. Bowties flying everywhere because you forgot to take them off the table while hammering. As an amateur furniture maker, it's good to know that even the furniture-building gods go through these ordeals throughout the production process!

    It's so comfortable to hear all the different tools running. Like the helical heads of a jointer and planer. Or the sound of the band saw. I really enjoyed this video! My first time watching.

    not only Ishitani is amazing woodworker, he also really takes care of his tools very well. at 21:11 how smooth he planed that end grain it moves like hot knife through butter. i can tell you by experience, if you dont take care of your tools and tried the same thing, i can assure you that you will not enjoy planning the end grain like he did.

    Ishi really dug deep into his tools for this one - I feel like he used almost everything in the shop except for the CNC. Even found a way to use biscuits for one joint and dominos for another

    The confidence to make the narrow part of those dovetail small is astounding. I usually make them half the size of wider part. This is show the quality of material and craftsmanship.

    Beautiful work there my friend. The only thing that could top this video is if you did closed captions to describe what you are doing, similar to what Primitive Technology does. I think it would really help the newbies like me understand more of what I'm seeing.

    The trick is to put that cross piece in the freezer. Shrink it a bit to get the best interference fit. haha. Great work. I thoroughly enjoy watching.
