This is Barrington Henderson’s only appearance on the “Phoenix Rising” album. He replaced Theo Peoples during the final sessions for the album. Theo did the rest of the songs before he was dismissed. I love the entire Phoenix Rising CD. I thought "This Is My Promise" was my favorite, but the more I listen to the CD, the more I become attached to "If I Give You My Heart". But as I stated at the beginning, LOVE the entire CD.

Wish the video could be re-uploaded since it's a little grainy towards the end but this is one of the best songs ever.. I've watched this video three x it's fire for sure❤

He"s truly is a gifted vocalist, I look forward to his new music in the near future

@msjayelbee9 I loved the Tempts when Ali was a the lead. They were just great. I'm so sad that both of these lineups didnt make it. I think you would like the video on here by the Temptations called "Touch Me" if you havent heard that listen to it and I would love to know what you think.

I liked this lineup too. So sad Harry Berry died. Terry and Ron are still rockin with Otis. Bo is with The Stylistics now I’ll support Otis he’s the last original member and he’s still able to live his dream. I wish I could’ve seen this lineup live.

@opinionated99 i think the 1968-1971 lineup was the best aside from the originals consisting of otis william, paul williams, eddie kendrick, melvin franklin, and elbridge "al" bryant.
thats what i stated...I said that i though the 1968-1971 lineup is the best and then I reminded everyone of the original lineup. I know full and well that Al Bryant was fired just prior to the recording of "The Way You Don't the Things You Do".

It’s okay I just found this out a few years ago. I looked at the cd credits and Bo actually thanked Theo Peoples in the groups Thank Yous.
