Oh, you’re so welcome. I’m so glad it helps! Thank you for your thoughtfulness, and tip It means so much to me, and helps help me with supplies. xo Happy painting Maira Most of all have fun
I hadn't heard about this until a couple weeks ago. I have already framed a couple pictures under glass & they don't appear to have lost any color at all...but they are also not exposed to direct sunlight. I have used the krylon on book marks. 😊
@@rosemariecooke9616 exactly, I had only used it a few times typically I’ve had my paintings some of them for four years, and they still look great, but they are not in direct sunlight as you said and have a UV glass on them. I even have one from the 80’s and still looks great And a Bald Eagle I painted. I’m glad your paintings are still looking great too.!
Absolutely Julie, it helps a lot and lends to an intentional muted color, or vibrant color palette. At least you know why and how you are getting the color you mixed :-)
I have applied it on the metallics (MAB) And they seem to work great! I dont typically use it on my paintings, unless they are something Im gifting. I think you will like it!
Yes, I used to use a lot of different sealing methods since I was selling my artwork for years, now I dont use it as much. It is helpful though and just gives you that added security they will not fade! Im glad it was interesting :-)
I wasn’t able to use the link you gave as it was adding a tool that I didn’t want The product is way more expensive in Canada but I wanted something to seal my bookmarks so thank you! Sorry I couldn’t help you on the purchase
Thank you, Debbie, this is very helpful. I have an unusual question. Having high sensitivity to chemical odors, I'm always looking for odorless art supplies. Does this wax have any smell? And if it does, would you have any recommendations for an alternative? Thank you 🙏
You’re so welcome, and thank you for asking such a thoughtful question, Im sure there are others wondering the same, ! 🌸 The wax I shared in the video, Dorland’s Wax Medium, is known for being low odor. It does have a very faint, natural scent, but to be honest I didnt smell a thing. Of course, sensitivities can be different with everyone. I would think if you did it with a window open, or outside you wouldnt smell anything. I hope that helps, if it does smell you can always return it to Amazon :-)
Always friend, My pleasure, its im portant for me as much as I Can to hear all of you, support you, I get help with the other things, but co mments and engaging with you all, is ALL FOR ME :-) Happy painting friend!

Do you cover the entire paper surface or just the painted area?
For the most part I covered the painting, I did extend just a bit beyond the actually pigment, although I did not cover the entire piece of paper .
@ Okay, thank you as I didn’t know if it made a difference when it was dry.
I make sure to let the painting dry, before applying the wax, and if you do apply a couple coats make sure to dry each coat first 24-48 hrs.
