Savannah has a huge tradition around St. Patrick’s day so the bananas added the kilts to the uniform lineup initially for a St Patrick’s day in July game and when they transitioned to bananaball year round they come out for St Patrick’s day.

Are these guys a real minor league team or are they like the Harlem globetrotters..because if I was in the minors and I was playing for a major league contract I would be pissed if I had to dance and do all this nonsense..I would be there chasing my dreams not to be a side show circus.
They were previously a collegiate summer team. After their exhibition games because so much more popular than their regular games, they have folded their collegiate summer team and now solely operate as an exhibition team in the same manner as the Harlem Globetrotters. And having gone to the first "World Tour" game in 2021, I can tell you that it is 100% worth going to their games. Top notch entertainment.
