+julesdlush Yes I think I allowed quite stereotypical play. I have beaten this IM before on at least two occasions before so don't think he is totally invincible, but on this occasion, I think I allowed basically an auto-pilot routine win unfortunately.
I think in this opening KC looks for too many short term tactical moves rather than strong positional advantages. If using this opening i would recommend playing fast and super-solid and being as patient as caffeine will allow.

I'm not sure the Kings Indian attack plays to your strengths? On the other hand, maybe we need to see a bigger game sample with that setup.
