LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO
small world
dababy
As soon as I heard Gianni, I got a _huge_ grin on my face. His Duke voice is so fucking good, man.
The moment you said "Why did I show my face? I make blind kids cry!" I needed to subscribe.
> Dixie appearing on the episode for half a second
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!
I seriously thought that was Jon St. John himself doing the Duke lines for this video. The impression was that damn good.
I really enjoy Time To Kill and even replay it every couple of years, Land of the Babes on the other hand... barely managed to beat it once...
Regarding the double jump issue in Manhattan Project: the gist of it is that the default Direct3D 8 renderer doesn't work properly on modern versions of Windows (8 and up). The game is supposed to use Vsync in order to cap the framerate, but due to it not getting applied correctly, the FPS gets uncapped and as a result you get framerate-related issues such as double jump not working, getting stuck on ledges and so on. There are two ways to fix that: one is to use a d3d8to9 converter to make the game use Direct3D 9 instead, or switch to the OpenGL renderer (called "Driver" in the game's options menu) which supposedly still works fine on modern Windows.
DasBoSchitt's version of Duke Nukem still remains my favorite version of the character.
your videos have been getting better. also dont beat yourself up about the live footage in the old videos. i actually miss it!
Just found your channel, your content is the best!
22:01 I’m convinced at this point that Jerma did have a hand in the Duke franchise after seeing that billboard. Also Manhattan Project’s on the App Store for anyone wanting a portable version
Nothing like having breakfast while watching a brand new Working Man Games episode.
Duke Nukem Time To Kill plays like Tomb Raider. In fact, the game’s advertising parodied Gex 3’s with Gex covering his love interests’ you-know-whats. It was literally advertised as “You got your Tomb Raider in my Duke Nukem!” With Duke himself covering Lara’s you-know-whats!
Really enjoyable stuff man, reminds me of old reviews I used to love, excellent video
The platformer Duke Nukems were amazing.
Bring them back.
Great video as usual!
It sure was at least for me a trip down memory lane.
And hey, at least the theme song of time to kill steal kicks ass.
This really puts the dookie in my nookie. Whatever that means.
I must admit that, crusty as these are, I do love the lowpoly grungy aesthetic (But that's my fetish)
And man, Gianni was such a nice addition to this video
so i found this video through gianni's channel, so i watched it and was like "damn", then i saw the viewcount and was like "damn...".
Still a favourite for me to come back to to laugh at. Your commentary is hilarious and the guy playing Duke is indistinguishable from the original.
And your face is handsome. Don't be ashamed of it!
Just found you through Gianni, this is GOLD. Subbed.
2:08 Max Payne may have had great 3rd person controls but MDK 1 and 2 imo are near perfect 3rd person shooter controls easily and was pretty initiative with its sniper scope feature!
Randomly came across your video through Gianni's channel. This is some fuckin hilarious stuff, I might go back and watch some of your other videos.
Nice guitar work in the Mine level
Your videos are getting better and funnier each time!
Just found your channel this is the first video I am watching and it is nice
"I make blind kids cry!"
Taken and will be used
Another job well done Stu. Bravo!
I had Manhattan Project as a kid, I found it to be pretty okay.
Also, more reviewers should use backgrounds from SNK fighters.
I have both duke Nukem collections for the evercade
There is a Hicksville on Long Island, New York where Billy Joel grew up. Unfortunately, there is a very low number of hicks.
I like your OC man. Please review the Evil Dead games.
I actually beat Land of the Babes twice and Zero Hour at least three times completely legit.
When you live out in the country with no internet, video games are a rare commodity.
Hahaha, that was great! Loved the editing in this one!
2:00 did not expect, laughed my ass off
I like your videos. I found you searching for captain claw.. I hope you grow and I wish you all the best
The dominatrix in the beginning (around the 3:00 mark) sounds eerily like Ophelia in Blood 2.
if Tomb Raider and Duke Nukem had a baby together, you'd get Duke Nukem time to kill.
"I suck at Boomer Shooters, They're my favorite Games in the world, yet I'm Terrible at them."
Welcome to my world, Man.
Oh boy new video on a Monday
I had Duke Nukem Zero Hour. It's not too bad after that damn water level.... Duke Nukem 64 was pretty amazing for a console game. I think it was better than Goldeneye. We played a lot of deathmatch.
0:29 As a Protogen, AYO?
Heh.
☢ *Bitchin'.* ☢
Stu and Civvie making a documantary on Randy named 'Grease' when?
I actually like Time to Kill and Zero Hour. Land of the Babes is rough though. You just have to be into that type of game.
I found land of the babes in the attic a whole ago, I think my dad bought it forever ago (he probably bought it because of the boobs on the cover)
Nice taste in background pics. Samsho stages are fuckin art.
I actually played all 4 of these. I still own Zero Hour and Manhattan Project. I really wanted to like TtK and LotB, but they suck.
I played the hell out of ZH and MP. I never had any problems with those two. I really enjoyed them.
Hail to the working man
It'd be great to see Duke climb to the music of that one Snake Eater song.
4:33 Did you actually have to draw a new pose? I've never seen that one before.
I love these games! I remember having tons of fun playing these when I was kid. I miss Duke Nukem. Everyone is so easily offended now and nobody can take a joke anymore. We need Duke to come back and get gaming out of this state of pussification.
You are the Bill Burr of retro gaming man!
U still alive crazy
18:20 I mean IIRC they also did 007 Nightfire so it could also be good.
Can't wait for Duke Nukem 4D: It's About Time
zilla loves tuna fish tacos
"Pray to the King, baby-- AHAHAHA!"
1:24 Oh God, that's the same company that made the blasphemous "Roller Coaster Tycoon 3D," the first in the line of disgraceful Roller Coaster Tycoon 'sequels' after Atari bought the rights to the series.
Manhattan Project 360 version im sure Fixed alot of problems and was in HD so better than old PC version without patches.
Stuke Workem 3D
HELL YEAH DUKE NUKEM VIDEO
Tomb Nukem?
...I’ll see myself out.
I thought doom guy was the posterguy 🫣
Saw bobba at 10:07, this might get taken down?
16:01 No "I hate Valve puzzles" joke?
The Rugrats N-Space games were good.
Time to kill was fantastic for its time
Working man will you make a video of you playing the doom theme
Keep up the good work, boss.
Unrelated: did you disable the comments on your Max Payne video because people were commenting what I went to comment? That the Xbox version was actually the best version and the PS2 version was ass?
Nah I need to fix that. Some guy who I had insulted years ago decided to get his fanbase to raid that video with dislikes and troll comments so i had to do damage control. That was a while ago though.
@@StuartKReilly Strange. What a strange way to spend one's time.
Wait, Manhattan Project was fun.
I beat time to kill iver a weekend and it was awesome.
Is there anyone that can bring back duke nukem and make him great again
"oh look it's Jerma"
"who wants to be a tr****" ME!!! ME!!!
I watch your videos.
9:20 to be fair, a tutorial would be helpfull for ya in terms of jumping. theres a short hop, and the running jump. (just like in tomb raider) you can also walk to ledges to get as close as ya can to do a hop.
HOWEVER, where in tomb raider when you backpeddle she hops the EXACT distance you need for a running jump, this game doesnt do this. a shame.
il confess, this game holds a soft place in my heart. i could get over the bad controls cos, well, i was a console peasent and back then we just assumed thats the best way for games to work i suppose. but looking back at them, even tomb raider is kinda... lackluster with movement.
You hold the jump button as you run and get close to a ledge, and duke auto-jumps on the very edge.
There ya go.
----------- miner 69er
Critical mass? more like Critikal ass. eh? eh?
Miner 69er i know what the 69 means
The furry man still makes videos' the feathers furs are very proud of you! we watch your vids O.> lol i guess all the farm animals like to watch other farm animals do stuff lol
I liked zero hour on n64 aged pretty terribly tho
Dude are you insane it aged incredibly well for N64 cart what are you on about
@@jetrifle4209 the control system and jumping puzzels are horrendous.
@@Kinogotiate I mean it was made In 2000 on the n64 what do you expect. Doesn't mean it aged bad at all its better than land of the babes and time to kill.
@@jetrifle4209 Aged badly means its not as fun to play as it was on release. I would strongly say that. Unless there are mods that fix some of the issues like exist for duke 3d.
Ofcourse a Texan dislikes the perfection of an AUG. missing your 1800- muskets or something? oh wait, did america even exist then? xD name ONE american made weapon thats worldwide known for its perfection. I think I can come up with like 2, but I can also come up with better ones that those 2.
No sir that joke aged perfectly.
I'm sorry dude... I just stumbled upon this vid... And i kept facepalming through the Time to Kill segment, and can't bare to watch more.
You compared it to Tomb Raider, saying it did things "better", but still call the controls shitty, even though Duke feels just like Lara. The jumping is fine. Just hold jump as you get near a ledge and Duke will auto-jump on the very edge.
Enemies aren't hitscan. I thought so at first, but i noticed my shots have travel time, and so do the enemies. But either way, You keep running INTO enemy gunfire instead of strafing in and out of corners, or dodging bullets at medium-long ranges.
The fire bats definitely are annoying, but other than a few mandatory times where the pipe bombs and energy weapon that melts everyting work fine, you can just ignore them. In the example you gave, you can use a jetpack to fly past instead of riding the line.
The first piece of paper is in front of the bank vault, which looks like you can interact with it, but it's locked, giving you the hint you must come back with the other pieces.
This honestly felt like watching an IGN review, or seeing that game journalist fail at Cup Head.
Congratulations. In the 3 years that this video has been up and through the 17,000 views it has amassed, you are the very first person to leave a negative comment.
@@StuartKReilly Not being negative just for the sake of it, or to stir up anything. Seeing people trash on a game or give up because they don't actually know what they're doing is pretty odd.
Game isn't perfect, none are. But it's not as impossible as you made it sound.
Not just you. I see another people do the same stuff, and i don't get it.
It's ok to dislike something, but people usually wanna hear a sound reason for it that makes sense. Like maybe they're just not into it.
Not because they barely even tried to understand what's going on.
Well you can’t expect everyone in the universe to like what you make. I could say the same thing to game companies honestly. My videos are less about the review and more the comedy. They’re really not meant to be taken seriously. Though I always get people telling me they don’t know when I’m serious and when I’m not. Makes me feel like I gotta like hold up a big sign that says “SATIRE. NOT SERIOUS” half the time
5:32 If it makes you feel any better, I'd rather watch you than AVGN. Rolfe has been losing his charm.
My favorite of all those games is Zero Hour. It was pretty easy for me. Take cover along the walls, strafe out and back behind stuff.
