I am 82 kg (no gear) and so far the 150mm version is not working for me. The front suspension has way too much travel and is too soft. My pump is only capable of 160 psi and have a better pump on the way, see what happens, but I am not overly confident. The big problem will be going up bumps where I normally depress the suspension to clear the obstacle.....with this much travel the wheel will extend too far down and send me over the handle bars. Back to the stock front suspension I think...but will try the 125mm version first...it does look good.
@@byronw3112 the 125mm version has slightly less travel than the stock suspension.. but way more plush. I am 75 kg and suspect a heavier rider could bottom out the shock on larger drops..am running max air.
About to fit the 150mm not 125mm on the front of my 10+ just waiting for it to arrive but measuring top and bottom fixings isn't it a tight fit does it not rub on any part of the scooter. Thanks
You have to remove the air first upon installation that is why mine was upside down so i can have access to both air fittings. Then just put your desired pressure base to your riding and weight make sure that the wheel is free off the ground while pumping the air

Hello. I looked for the air suspension on aliexpress and found pictures from the customer with the broken suspension, that tube actually broke like an aluminum can of juice. What do you think, is it strong enough? I weigh around 95 kg. Thank you
Base on my own assessment, if you are riding this on a normal riding no jumping it is strong enough, coz the original one does not perform that well anyways
Hello bro! To be honest i am also new with this Air shock but base on my experience right now i like it i did bought before the usual recommended EXA 291R 125mm but it gave me a much shorter travel which is not good of corse so i tried getting this 150mm eye to eye which gave me a much better travel.. not really sure for 230lbs rider coz i am 155lbs.. do you still have the stock one?
st going air should be a significant improvement because stock coil have a fixed spring rate, usually for an average weight person which means you would likely be too heavy. However, air sprung shocks have infinite adjustment. Rather than swapping springs you can adjust air pressure, also air sprung are progressive vs a linear coil. Air will more difficult to bottom out.
Its not just the eye to eye length i am concern more of the travel on my suspension and for now i am very happy with result as far as stability and softness.. thanks for your advice stay safe🤙
Hi, I stumble across a pile of conflictiong info about this: I am considering puting air shocks onto my scooter as well, but I am a big guy ( 115 kg/ 253 lbs and my ride is a hefty one too (30kg). A5-RR has max allowed pressure of 200 psi and I am not sure about it being able to handle the load even when maxed out. I had no success of finding some guidelines about recommended pressure vs weight. Do you or anyone else reading this have some thoughts or experience with air shocks and heavy rider combo? Still have stock suspension installed, should I go for a spring-hydraulic option instead because of the weight? Exa 291R comes into mind in this case, but which, 1500 or 2000 lbs ? Thanks.
Hi! Base on what i heard from different riders and my experience with your weight ideally is hydraulic coil.. the only experience i had is the shortness of travel and getting the right coil weight but for sure 1,500 is not enough for you.. but if you wanna try the air which i did it not too pricy anyway.. coz the air is way softer in terms of ride comfort.. hope this will help you deciding..😁
