I love the design of the fighters of this era, in both anime/manga and in games, superb... love them!

Someone traded in the PS1 copy of this at my store a little while ago and I was tempted to get it. He had it in a sleeve to keep the case nice and the booklet was perfect and in another sleeve. Disc was scratched up to heck though. Lord knows why you'd try to protect the case and the booklet in sleeves when the disc was kinda wrecked.

@MellowGaming It's a good game, depending on the price I'd maybe pick it up but I still think your best bet is the compilation I mentioned in the review. that is a strange thing to do, but who knows maybe someones kid brother got a hold of the disc at some point? I have a copy of The Lost Boys that I got on DVD about 20 years ago that has seen a ton of use, yet still plays perfectly fine despite all of the scratches

when people are selling you ports of ports that are in themselves ports of ports, you know the game industry is on its last legs.

@kimmoruohoniemi7158 Not sure I can entirely agree on this one. Do I think the current state of the video game industry is messy? Absolutely but that's a massive discussion for another time. but if these publishers want to compile their games and resell them to people, like myself, who are willing to pay for them, than so be it. These are 3 different games I don't own, that have maintained a some what high asking price, so if I can get all 3 of them for $40 on switch I'll be that sucker who keeps funding rereleases lol.

Just once I would love for a game like this to resolve the conflict by having a janitor unplug and plug back in the AI Super Computer 😄
Just ends after 4 levels, you in the middle of stage five, and then all the enemies stop. Lights dim. Sound and music turn off, and someone gets in your ear to tell you there was an IT guy still in the building and he's taking care of it. You can take your multi-million dollar spacecraft and go back home; enjoy the long weekend, anime hero pilot guy!
Seriously though, how great would that be as a jokey Easy ending? There's so many games that cut you off from content if you play on Easy that tell the player to play again on a harder difficulty to see the true ending or the final stages... at least have some fun with the idea instead of making the player feel bad.
